I just ran across this and it brings back so many memories. I sang in a women’s barbershop quartet when I was 21 & I’m 67 now. Those were the good old days. Now I sit in my apartment, not going out, due to the Covid. I have health issues, so being safe. I just subscribed to the channel, so I’ll have something GOOD and ENTERTAINING to listen to. Does anyone know if this quartet is still singing? Loved them and THANK YOU!!!!!

One of the few quartets where I like listening to the same songs they did last year because they put it an effort to keep it fresh (i.e. new jokes) Great Job Again this Year NF4! You'll get that gold soon!

Right? As much as I love Main Street, I’ve heard them sing Britney and N’SYNC more than enough times. The concept would still be great if they did a few new songs in that arrangement. The Newfangled Four always manage to add something new, and that’s IF they bring back an old song.

@@mephostopheles3752 I think part of what makes them unique in a way is that if they do the same song they in some way call back to a different song (banana phone) or how Jackson had been working on his high notes all year. Also it's a bit insane to me that they can be as animated with the physical jokes while singing and stay in rhythm and volume.

Ellie Baldwin Ryan (the baritone) is leaving NF4 due to personal reasons and they’re retiring from competition for the time being. Thankfully they’re all still on good terms, but their performances will be missed :(

I really appreciate, that this time they tried higher notes than previously, it really makes this year performance still fresh and nice; what i'd really love to hear tho is Jackson finally pulling of that highest note when he's "warming right up to the *sky*" and proving, that maybe "third time's the charm"
