The kids are so well spoken. The son is so matured. This is painful no child deserves such treatment from their parent. They sound so detached, you can tell they have been through a lot.
The father is suffering from self hate, Marilyn was giving him what he never experienced as a child unconditional love and patience. The things that he never got from his mother. He gravitates to what is normal to him abandonment and abuse. Marilyn is a great woman, she raised beautiful intelligent kids God bless them, as for the father he needs healing, there is no sanity in his actions. The father's mother wants her son to be like her, that's why she encourages a behavior that hurts children.

This is eye opening. We are raising kids that are aware ,and vocal . Talking about it will help them heal and be better humans . The mother has done well in raising kids who can stand up for themselves.

After listening to the son , he makes a LOT of sense, i realize why the whole notion of bekezeling is useless and damaging. There are men who cheat on their wives but provide and sleep at home. Oh my goodness, I’m listening to these kids and crying because they were forced to grow up before their time. At 18 my only concern was passing my studies and daydreaming about my boyfriend. The son sounds so mature. It’s like I’m listening to my 40plus year old husband. Yeah it’s good to be and sound matured but not at the sacrifice of childhood.
These kids are beautiful hle. And well spoken. The girls skin, wow. I hope they become very successful in life. They deserve everything beautiful coming their way.

I listened to their mother and I fully understood the role that we play as women into these marriages most specially putting other people first, making other people happy first. It's hard. But God will make that woman the happiest person through these kids. She has done a great job here and I know it must have been difficult. These are future leaders, I'm inspired.

Honestly I am compelled to be one of many to compliment how well spoken and matured these kids are. I really pray for this Family's healing. obviously this has been going on for some time they are bound to feel the way they do including their mother. She really did an exceptional job raising them. As for their father i really hope he will seek help because no sane human being will behave this way i really feel sorry for the woman he is currently with. I am rooting for the family's success, growth and peace

When women speak up they are sidelined and restrained and it’s sad Thank you for speaking up and sharing your story, this episode breaks my heart 💔 my mom and my siblings we’ve been here and experienced everything you have said,my step sister is my neighbour and my father visited her, He dropped clothes,food and he was there for her and we watched that( my sister is my neighbour and we don’t have a relationship and her mom use to be my mom best friend) we relate to these stories and thank you Promise❤ I have a house of my own, I graduated, I’m earning well and he tried to reach out,and my step siblings reached out and to be honest I have no hate towards anyone but Ndibusy raising my kids and building a healthy home for my kids. I was against these kids speaking up but they matured and telling their side. The dad is damage since as a child he was abandoned by his mother, he never healed, hurt people hurt others
As a single mother I really understand where their mother is coming from, she protected their further only to cause a lifetime wound.this confirms that choosing yourself first is very important and kids will understand in the later stage..

I'm a 60year old woman, my parents divorced in 1985. Do you know what aches me, we went through this and the younger generations are still going through the same mess. This bs scares me, excuse my language. I literally hates men like your father. Do they know, this affects the kid's future. The kids become angry, depressed etc. They'll grow up engaging in unstable and wrong relationships. I love these kids. I wish more kids could speak up. this is too much. The system is failing the children. What are we creating really. Our country will never get it,and i don't think they want to. Look at the top, corruption everywhere, everywhere you go, noone does what they're supposed to do correctly and legally. To the children, you're doing good for yourselves and your mom who has been the foundation of your lives and future. You're her image, remain resilient and firm for what is right.
