I actually use to play with Table Top mode a lot, just because I prefered it to handheld mode. However, the way I use to use it the most was years ago, before I could drive, I had one of those IPad holders for the car that attach to the headrest on the seat in front of you that young children use, but I put the switch in it, so I could have the screen up to my face. I found it really convientient.

One of favorite earliest memories of the Switch is being on a hours-long plane flight with one of my friends and grinding Snipperclips in tabletop mode. It’s come in handy on a few plane flights since then as well. It’s situational, but I know when no one else has got me, Nintendo Switch tabletop mode has got me.

I never even knew this thing existed lol. Would have taken playing Smash Ultimate at the high school lunch tables to another level.

My wife and I used our flexible grip camera tripod to hold the Switch while we were travelling, it was the best and much more versatile than the accessory you have. Played it no problem on planes, trains, boats, cars, in hotels, while camping, in cafes etc.

Didn't have a TV when the switch first came out, so I played through Zelda in tabletop mode with a pro controller. I can't see myself ever really using it that way these days, but it came in clutch back then!

Another feature for the Nintendo Switch, is to flip the switch 2 upside down. You'll either need to stand it next to a wall, or play it flat on the ground.

the first time i used my switch out of the house, i put it on its kickstand at a bar to play the just-released-literally-that-day Octopath Traveler while i waited for my date to get off work and join me. it felt great and apparently wasn't too embarrassing cause i married that lady and now we have 2 kids lol. that stand looks awesome, whats it called and where can i get one. I love the OLED so much because they actually made the stand sturdy and usable... I say this having used it in tabletop mode a table of one time.

I never even knew that it was known as tabletop mode. I just assumed it was a variant of handheld mode

I use my switch tabletop-style when I want to go to the other end of the house to watch TV with someone, though I end up just laying it flat lol. I also use a USB-C hub to attach my Bluetooth adapter to used my DS4 because my joycons drift too much to use at all

There are 5 other modes, in fact. But they require accessories for the most part. The Flip-Grip is one that gives you vertical portable and vertical tabletop, and then you need a TV that allows itself to be turned 90° to get a vertical TV mode, also often called TATE, for pinball, shmups and other arcade games the system has plenty of, like Donkey Kong or Punch-Out for exemple. And then there is the stand that allows you to have the system attached to a pro controller, that gives you what I call the pro on the go mode. Very useful for local 3D arena multiplayer fighters like Pokkén Tournaments DX or ARMS (instead of using split screen). And if you have a great model of stand that gives you the ability to rotate, you get vertical pro on the go mode (or "TATE pro" I guess)

I love tabletop mode. It is very situational for sure but how else would I play metroid while being in the bathtub? 😅

Bro I have the same accessory because I didn't want my flimsy stand to fall ever and never used it. Funny enough I upgraded to the OLED model and still carry the stand with me because it's just so good. You should do Bluetooth adapters for switch in the next video since I found that the one that was turned on by Nintendo is far worse in ever aspect and find the adapters to be somewhat of a major upgrade in everyway.
