Rawk is A Nintendo centric show focused on reviewing games both new and old, and other speculative and analytical discussions thrown in there, with a hearty dose of snarky humour to boot.

To be honest, I did love this feature. It was pretty good. Luigi‘s mansion 2 is pretty good. But the first one is always gonna be my favorite. never got to play part three though I don’t own a switch.
They wouldn’t have the merchandising rights for all those games you mentioned… you’re assuming a lot in this video. One; that plushes make a lot of money, and that these niche games need them. And two; that this company is just automatically given the rights to these games. If other companies are making pushes as well that should be a massive hint that they would have to bid/put in some sort of request for those rights…. There probably isn’t as much of a market as you think there is… from the looks the games that get the most support are Pokémon, animal crossing and Kirby. Kirby is a juggernaut in Japan in terms of this kind of merchandise, and animal crossing and Pokémon appeals to the target audience, cute and collectible. What you describe doesn’t really fall into that audience. Wario would not be a “cute” plushy… Mario isn’t really either, I think it’s fair what you said about Mario Wonders Elephant plushies, but again that likely shows they don’t have much faith in this form of merchandise for these games… Like why do you keep mentioning reskins?? I don’t know much about this but having plush’s with entirely different seams but of a same character makes it a different plush, those Mario bro U plushes are far more more then just a reskin you can see the toad has different seams just looking at it’s head…
does every nintendo fan line their rooms with every possible collectors item? are you people even gonna use it for anything? im thinking people just get nintendo products not for fun but because its some serious business to them. (example, competitive smash bros and pokemon shinies)
So happy to see someone share similar enthusiasm as me about video game plushes! I had no idea the UK didn't sell Sanei plushes, that sucks man! Aside from the Nintendo Store, Sanei plushes here in the US are sold in Walmart, Gamestop, and Target. I also have a local game store that has some. This video really showed me how blessed I am when it comes to Sanei plushes. I hope that Sanei will cash in on these ideas cuz you read my desires like a book!
Because of this video, I learned that I got Mario, Toad and Luigi from Mario Bros wii by the way, you missed one more Odyssey plush with changeable hats
It is official, but it is just the Super Mario line of plushies that came right after the NSMB Wii line, in which the two toads are identical aside from tags, whereas characters like Luigi have differences and don’t retain their Wii look, at least later into the set’s life.
honestly im fine with just elephant mario, its already amazing and i dont need more elephants, though for other characters it would be nice, i just wish they would restock some older kirby plush since i collect them and am missing some
not sure if anyone mentioned this but from collector to collector, suruga-ya is a japan based store thats like a thrift store and they often host free shipping events internationally (including UK i believe) every month and u can get them for much cheaper compared to meccha japan and such. still a bit of a pain but definitely better than meccha japan. the quality is often really good, usually just like new (plushies are definitely on the safer side to buy). there is a 500 yen service fee but definitely better than the awful shipping prices. really good video btw, i definitely feel your pain 😭
Im a major plush collection and I've dealt with all of these problems cause I dont support bootlegs. Sanei, I want to give you my money, please up your game with your plush production and availability. The fact that these characters: Dixie Kong Cranky Kong Toadsworth King Boo Pauline Dont have plushes is kinda ridiculous.
RU-vid finally recommending something that is in line with my interests. I have a huge plush collection and I love Nintendo games. I would be very happy buy more Nintendo plushes but I don't want to spend 300x the retail price just because the company don't want my money.
the company nintendo uses to make their plushies genuinely makes the best quality plushies I have ever seen. that waluigi plushy I bought for $15 is far better quality than the sans fangamer plush I bought for double the price.
something I never understood is how there are absolutely no Amiibo for any Smash Bros Assist Trophies, like half of them are Nintendo property anyway I desperately want to see Color TV-Game 15 & Dr. Kawashima have an Amiibo
It is official but not from the New Super Mario Bros Wii set, but rather the Super Mario set In America, they also have the New Super Mario Bros Wii logo on the tag, but as you can see, they're the exact same pattern, so as far as I'm concerned you have the whole set
The fact that we don't have a (new) Mallow plush is baffling to me, the guy is perfect for a plushie imo. Would also be awesome to see Geno get one but I think he'd work better as a toy or even an Amiibo.
I think the reason a lot of the plushies you mentioned don't exist is because they probably won't do well. When you list them out it sounds weird that they don't exist but can you really imagine an average mario fan going to a store and buying plushies of pretty niche characters like glydon lubba or poplin?
I feel like there’d be a bit of an issue with scalpers if the plushies came out right when the games came out because scalpers would be sitting ready to buy multiple plushies and sell them for higher prices to people like you who really want one
This Video perfectly encaptures my problems with getting Plushies in Europe especially in Germany i love to collect them i want to give my money to Pokemon and Kirby plushes but the avaiability in europe for those is so small its laughable especially if you are a fan of less popular pokemon like lets say as an example Regice ,Dunsparce and Heatmor "wow cool i can get them at the pokemon center website" looks up avaiability "Oh they dont ship to europe what a n suprise lets use a proxy service" (that will cost me extra to buy those plushes) "ok good i bought those plushies now its time to wait for them to arrive" oh wow thank you German Custom Fees for giving me a 50/50 Chance of either paying you Because the Guy that worked that day said so or letting my package through without problems and now i paid atleast 20%+ of the normal price if not higher I honestly never understood why there is such few avaiability for Nintendo related plushes in europe they would make so much money of of it but Nintendo seems like they dont want to they would make tons of money if they just open a Nintendo store somewhere mid Europe like germany or so because of just the mass of fans wanting to buy Plushes and other related items and or Giving more item variety into the Nintendo websites like instead of only Kirby plushes why not Meta knight or King Dedede but thats Nintendo i guess
