it's an easy program for new lifters, whether they are going for strength or size. however, eventually more is better. more volume with some isolated movements added. none of it matters though... if you dont show up.

It's not just for new lifters at all and more does not equal better. Your not understanding the program.

you're not understanding what I said. I just looked and no where did I say "just" for new lifters. and like it or not, more is still better. 😆 💪

SS works well I have been doing the same basic idea for a long time. Now when I hit a sticking point I back up 40% and progress up again. Eat well lift heavy every other day for six days and do cardio on the eighth day.

SS lacks complete volume overall work. It pushes the tendons to get inflamed quick. Dumbbells are not programmed.

How do you get people to stay committed? I'm not that strong but I made a lot of progress on SS, but when I introduce it to friends/family, they give up at a 135lbs squat. People's bodies have the potential for getting significantly stronger, but from what I've seen they lack the personality to lift heavy consistently, even when they make great progress in such a short time frame.

Most Americans are pussies, it gets hard they quit and go back to their cell phone, that’s easy. It’s the ozempic society.

Can I run SS on a carnivore diet assuming I am hitting protein goals? Would it be slower progress?

"Keep it simple" rules out Starting Strength; even it's too complicated for a novice

How low does your IQ have to be for SS to be too complicated?
