Update. Though I ran into several small inconveniences when getting this gun I still have to recommend it. First if you are having double feed issues there are several ways to slightly alter the feed lips on the mags to fix it. Second if you run into any problem the customer service goes above and beyond to make it right, amazing company. Third the performance. In my first game using it I took out three guys in a row because they walked through the door I was covering since they couldnt hear the guy that just went before them getting shot. I legitamately had a few times were I couldnt tell I fired the gun until the guy I shot called it... Amazing pistol!

I feel like this is very comparable to the G&G Speed soft gun, in that its made for function over everything. Its a niche tool for people that main snipers.

Im not a fan boy of novritsch but i do own an ssg24 and an ssp1 both are good guns for the price. And the support from his team is great too but im not a fan of this suppressor being sold separately from the mk23 i feel if this is supposed to have it then it should be sold with it

Now I really want this pistol, along with Solid Snake's outfit so I can make metal gear jokes with my friends while on the field.

I think its great that Novritsch sells the suppressor separately. He offers cheat thread adapters so people can use their already owned suppressors. When you buy both, its the same price as the tm. So he just made the purchasing easier for everyone on top of adding some really good improvements over the base mk23.

I think it’s a good deal when it’s $135 and with a CO2 magazine. This pistol reminds me a ton of my CZ-P09 and I can’t wait to get my hands on it when it’s ready for C02. But $185 is a stretch for not having a suppressor

I like that at 3:20 he said he doesn’t have any small red dots but an acog will work, yet he hat a small red dot(I’m guessing is a red dot)on top of the acog

I bought this pistol the day it came out and it is amazing and super quiet .

I have an SSP-1 and love it. So I will defiantly be getting one of these.

I think for the price range with it already being upgraded it's a perfect price the only thing I would of liked to see was the mk23 lazer/light combo

Honestly it seems like a super useful pistol, but I prefer to have blow back on pistols, and also the fact that it doesn’t come with a silencer is kinda a turn off, but honestly great vid, I liked how you didn’t feel like you needed to lie about the pistol, and that you gave your honest review 👍

I would say, no ... would not buy it , because I am part of the already long time established mk23 TM master race club, lol. But, ... this model has a few nice features, I wish TM would look at and put thier TM "magic" on. Kind of nice to know, mags are TM compatible. Thats a boon right there. I like the suppressor can be varied length, but at the same time, it looks to have a much larger diameter , and is a "can" sticking out the front. The ssx23 also looks to be slightly over-all "bulkier" a pistol , and honestly the TM Mk23 is almost "too large" itself. Price wise, it's simply better to get a TM, which includes everything you must buy separately on the SSX23, and no drilling for a rail. The Lam unit comes with a mk23 is practically useless , but the rail space itself is a nice already done feature. SSX23 included top down mod+precision inner is a very nice feature, but watching other reviews and listening to owners, this has had some quality control issues and many are badly mis-aligned. It really is better to get the hadron TDC plates, Hnub, and inner barrel , and do the mods yourself. That way, you know upfront , what parts you got , and know quality is there for any misalignment issues. I'm not sold on the aluminum slide , it does look nicer , the optics are a nice touch. But practicality wise, especially for stealth "snipers" , it's not a real "selling feature" to be honest. All it does is add weight, to an already large/bulky/heavier sidearm. Stealth snipers paint/tape/ghille , so looks don't matter too much to be honest. The aluminum slide, offers no real benefit , save to make it look better. By your "review" here, and watching others... I'm sorta seeing a more "clone" average device with upgrades. Same model , ASG/STTI/Y&P "off brand clones" of the TM mk23 , with slight "improvements and pre-upgraded hop and inner barrel. The good news though, heh... have another mag source for my MK23s , which IS a great thing!

I'll simply put I'd never buy a non blow back gas pistol. So it is a hard no from me.

As a marketing guy, we still don't get it why people are weird. Why would people be okay with $225 for a pistol and supressor, but never be okay with $185 and a separate supressor. Marketing conducts surveys and employ common sense. It's better to have the supressor sold separately. Believe it or not, there are people who will buy this gun without the supressor (me included) so the marketing can keep the cost low and not pay full price for an item you'll never need. If you're a true airsofter, you don't need looks. It's all about performance. Without the supressor, the gun is really easy to point and shoot, a very important feature to have on cqb. (Sorry for bad English I'm multilingual)

I've got the TM MK23. IF I buy the SSX 23, I'd use the Co2 mags and the TM furniture.

My short answer about how good this is. I purchased this gun and so far I am quite impressed and for the price... it is 100% worth it.

I think if you dont care for the bells and whistles and you want pure performance NOV if you want better sights get the NOV slide and if you like the bells and whistles you can get parts later from nov (i have the tm and i got an argus rmr mount and ill get the gun and co2 mags altogether when they come out)

That's a pretty decent precision sidearm, I can see myself using it as a primary in a CQB arena :D. Price is debatable imho. For that much money I feel like the suppressor should have been included but that's just my opinion really. Great review!

The Novritsh warranty and informative website wins it for me. The Nov suppressor looks a little less like a beat up piece of metal tubing.

This gun is a $30 pistol with $20 worth of upgrades in it, if you want to do more research look up stti mk23. Its about $40 but with bulk deals its easy to imagine that you'd get at least $10 off.

I can see the use/worth of the pistol. Same with his other one. I decided to go for using a pistol as a primary and choose a TM Hi-Capa for upgradability and customization. As for this pistol, I prefer actually having blowback. Makes it more fun, but I can see this pistol's niche. As for the price, his other pistol still has the "sale" price. I think it is a marketing tactic and/or he just wants to show what it would cost to get individual parts yourself?

I bought the SSX-23, and let me tell you why. first off, the alternative TM mk23 comes in at a higher price than the ssx, if you add the suppressor the price is around the same (atleast here in denmark), difference is, i dont have to go get myself Hadron, ML crazyjet and ML autobot, cause a TDM and TBB is already in the SSX, along with a ML autobot, besides that, the frame is metal instead of plastic, and the fiberoptic sights are clear and tall so it's easy to use with a suppressor. also if you want to attach a toprail for your TM, ASG, STTI or other brand MK23 drilling the frame can be dangerous as its plastic. also i have been wanting a TM mk23 for a long time, but they were always sold out, or going for way to much. the price of 135€ + 47€ is a steal for me, the gun is ready out of the box to lift heavy weight bb's and outrange or perform similar to an AEG, which is perfect since i can't engange with my sniper if the enemy is within 100 feet, i need a pistol than can hit consecutive within that range, and from the test i've seen, this pistol does the trick. i have been using an fully upgraded TM hi-capa 5.1 so far, and its accurate within 150-200 feet, but the noise is a dead giveaway, which is why i opted to go for the MK23.

I know that the difference won't be significant, but I'm really nitpicky. Also, if you have any experience with the other MK23 NBB models out there, which would be the quietest of them all? The tokyo marui Mk23 with suppressor costs around £60 if you know where to look, however the SSX23 costs £135 without suppressor, and with the suppressor it's £165. there isn't a big difference between the two guns apart from the price. I'd say tokyo marui is better.

Nice video! If you don't need the modular supressor, I would recommend the SRS silverback mk23 supressor which are also 16mm CW threads! I would also advise watching Kickingmustang's review as he has a lot of experience wit mk23's

I think the gun is not worth 130 with out the barrel but I think it is a crazy pistol with its range and I would make it a primary in cqb with a extra mag

Having bought the ASG MK23 for £65 and after using it for a game, I can tell you that I would have no concern paying the £180 that the SSX 23 costs.I had some decent shots with the ASG, but the hop-up has no effect even with .20s, the suppressor is just a barrel extension, which won't align with the sites, whilst also pushing the FPS over 350 making it too powerful for most UK fields, and then there's the feed issues. I did not manage to empty a single magazine of bbs without some sort of issue, from double feeds to the magazine's simply dumping all their gas out. The SSX-23 a actually seems like a bargain compared, but I think I'm still going to keep my ASG CZ-75 Shadow I as my main sidearm. It just seems to work, and it was your review of the CZ-P09 that convinced me to get that pistol.

Those mounts under barrel that are meant to fit the mk23 light / laser litterally do fit picatiny scope mounts, like you can just get a scope sniper mount and put a torch inside instead of a scope and it will mount without needing screwed on pic rail... How do people not know it's already standard picatiny size? All pistols with these are the same, figured that shiz out 10 yrs ago

Funny thing is the real steel Mk.23 was built specifically to be used as a primary weapon by SOCOM and it's built like a damn tank.

Isn't this just a slightly upgraded TM MK23, which is just the exact same thing as the ASG MK23, which is the exact same thing as the STTI MK23?

I already bought a $195 TTI 2011 that’s gonna be loud as hell. Most TM MK23s I see sell for $200 so I don’t think Novritsch’s pistol is priced too bad. I’d probably go with the SSX if I wanted a quiet pistol.

$135 on its own? Still very much worth it. It's an accurate and reliable pistol, more so than many others at this price point. If they end up getting raised to $185, as long as the suppressor is included, it would still be worth it. Still cheaper than the Marui mk.23 as well. Even though I own a marui mk.23, I'm definitely going to buy an ssx23. The marui is great, but showing age

The slide catch could at least hold back the slide... because the fact that there are many "fake" switches on the gun makes it look a little more like cheap airsoft replicas and at the price this gun is sold, it shouldn't. Then apart from that, it looks like it has a great performance!

The only ones who would truly benefit with this pistol are KickingMustang and AirsoftCamMan, those 2 run full gillie and are always using suppressed weapons.
