@@umid970 He was going too. Shane at that point was no going back and mentally going crazy, he had the advantage since he pointed a gun first and Rick had to talk carefully to him in order to get out of there alive and then once Shane wasn't looking, Rick took that chance to take him down. Rick knew if the slightest chance of Shane lowering the gun, he would try to kill Rick again. That's why Rick said "damn you for making me do this"
@@TheRealRickGrimes You are so slow. He tried getting Rick to shoot him because Shane and Rick simply couldnt co-exist. Two leaders with different ideologies. If Rick failed to be man enough to kill Shane, it wouldve had to be Shane who killed Rick. The group needed a clear leader, not two who consistently in conflict.
@@YouthAmphia Oh and I'm "slow"? Says the one talking about himself. You're either too dumb enough to not pay attention to the story cuz of how much you like Shane or just biased af. What you're talking did NOT happen! Shane was NOT testing Rick, he actually wanted to kill him. They were sticking with the comic storyline of Shane trying to kill Rick to have Lori. What you're saying is an idea Jon had but the writers said no lol. Stop acting like Rick was a pus, the man killed two people in the bar with no hesitation. Shane was just going mad about Randel and that he couldn't have Lori and Carl. Pay attention to the show before you start making yourself look like a 🤡. Jeez you just revealed you're slow without saying it🤣
@@TheRealRickGrimes I'm talking about the situations that led up to this point. His pregnant wife in a prison with no medical supplies. Shane put their welfare and safety above everything.
@@clifforddavis6705but shane was a psych who only cared about himself, he just wanted Ricks fam and he would kill anyone for it. Thats not a good leader
@@Morphologicallyy Shane was talking about Rick's family when he said "I don't think you can keep them safe." Calling him a psycho, is saying Rick became a psycho because later he started to understand what Shane was telling him in the beginning the rules done changed. So from my POV is that Shane understood in the beginning, what Rick had to learn through trial and error (many lives lost in the process)
Shane was ahead of them that time sure he was a big potentiel ! And that line in the end proved that . And the way rick become like shane in the season 5
Honestly when I think back to season from like season 1 - 2 I realise just how correct Shane was, Shane knew Rick was dangerous and knew he wouldn't be able to keep the people he cares for safe It's just too bad they made Shane the bad guy, both him and Rick would've been an unstoppable duo
well rick fucks up many times and is often heistant but if shane wouldve lived longer the war w the governor and negan wouldve ended much quicker as seeing shane all he cares about is his family and keeping them safe@@DoomZzx
Brother, I hope you understand that Shane is clearly going crazy. Anyway, at the very end, he listened to Rick and waited for Rick to come up to him with his gun down. Because he couldn't shoot his brother..🥺
@@chameseddine4682 that was like....clearly my point. Whoever Shane was by the time of his death is gone. His jelousy and love for Lori blinded him to the point he was willing to kill anyone to have them for himself. And was willing to keep them alive for HIM. To put it simply he lost his mind due to obsession.
If Shane kept up his progress when Rick first confronted him about his obsession with Lori man.. their relationship would've been 10 times better to watch than Rick's and Daryl's
Jon bernthal made shane a better character, I certainly would of loved to seen them settle differences at the barn shane would of helped big time if he didn’t lose it
People need to realize that Shane was the good guy in the show. Rick was constantly getting his camp killed against plans Shane put forward that would have prevented it despite the fact Shane was the camp leader before Rick decided he could usurp Shane's role. Within the first few episodes of being part of the camp, Rick's decisions got 90% of the camp killed. Within the run time of the show, over 99% of the original camp, which Shane had kept alive, died under Rick's leadership. Shane was right.
Huh ? Sure he did, the gun even went off and that's what drew the herd to the farm, lmao. The gun being empty is what Jon Bernthal wanted, but not what happened.
@@vasconcelos7356 yeah, and later on the series Rick did the same. Shane just learned the rules of the new world before. Remember when he said that they shouldn't kick people out and instead kill them so they don't come back? So... Rick understood Shane.
Yep, if they only expelled him or something, so he returns one day as a vengeful villain or even as an unexpected savior... missed opportunity, they had a great character and they just killed him (instead they keep introducing cartoonish characters).
😮 damn you Shan you're right maybe I can't keep them safe but I could have kept them way safer with you😮 who would still be alive with Shane was still here
Yess they both did fight for lori and Carl but at the end they used to care for each other as well...they used to fight and laugh according to the situation...and yes I'll definitely make another shane edit so stay tuned
Shane era bom, não era um cara mal se perdeu por conta de vários fatores... Escolhas erradas do Rick, Lori fazendo a cabeça dele e do Rick E a morte do Otts.... Um grande personagem.
the video was good i was the 2nd like i didnt wanna comment to be first or but i thought its gonna be a dead edit and deserved more so i shared it with friends and here it is 2 days 2,3k views and 126 likes keep up the good work bro i love it
Very cool video! I'm so sorry that things turned out this way for them. They could be the best duo. But maybe it’s for the better, because if Shane hadn’t died it wouldn’t have been so interesting and he might have become boring, like other characters.
Dale had a point to when Shane said you think I would shoot rick and dale yes that’s the man I think you are and guess what’s happened Shane was going to shoot Rick
And what? He wanted to make Rick fight for his family. And plus he never fired, although he had the opportunity to kill Rick 100 times. This is proof that he loved Rick as his brother.
In the end, Shane was right about everything. He couldn't keep them safe (blame the writers for Carl's death) and Shane was years smarter than most people in the apocalypse. I wish the show gave us more Shane like characters. I would of loved more Rick vs. Shane leadership drama feuds in later seasons. He was the only character to compete with Rick when it came to leadership. That was the biggest issue with the show in later season imo, was someone to compete with Rick to add more drama to the stories. It got boring alot of times because that aspect wasn't present anymore. As a writer myself, killing Shane off in Season 2 instead of keeping him alive to see what you could do with that character was one of the biggest mistakes of the show. I also do think they should of kept Sophia alive alot longer (actress is amazing in Bosch), and could of really had alot of drama with Carol. Carol trying to be the overprotective mother, turns Sophia into a sort of rebel growing up with Carl being her best friend to bring her back from the darkness. Man, they killed far too many main cast members in early seasons. The 'new characters' they brought in in later seasons, got so boring that I tried continuing the show at least 7 times to get through the last seasons because I just didn't care. God, it was so bad.
Yea twd had a strong gripping story till s7...after that it all got messed up...the big mistake they ever did was killing off glenn and Carl so easily...like Carl's death didn't even made sense..they killed him off and then make rick disappear in s9...like they were no characters to be imagined as main characters and watch the show...daryl and Maggie may be good characters but I can never imagine them like main characters for example rick..carl..glenn..shane were the most important characters of twd
I shtt... I hated it... *I MISS HIM 😢, I WANT RICK AND SHANE... NOT RICK AND DARYL 😢, I MEAN OFC I LIKE RICK& DARYL... BUT RICK&SHANE IS THE BEST ONE* , Goddamn... Why does the director give us what we don't want and force us to like what the director wants?
I'm sorry but from my point of vue, Shane never liked Rick. He just wanted Lori and Carl and that's it... I don't like this character, not interesting at all in my opinion and too insane
Shane literally slept with ricks wife and got her prego as soon as they both thought he was dead in a hospital and then later it showed how Shane blocked the door to ricks room in the hospital when he went to find rick, to leave him to die
Excuses??? Why do y'all even forget the fact that Shane was the one who blocked the door in the hospital to protect Rick...if he didn't have blocked that door..rick would have died a long time ago in that hospital....shane was a good guy who turned into a bad guy...but he was never a bad guy since the beginning
