My guess on the Trunks v Gogeta 4 fight is just some Future headcanon done by the devs. I'm pretty sure the timelines add up that GT and Trunks' timeline happen at least around the same time
@@sky-oq5mr at the ending of Z its the year 784 in the Dragon Ball timeline and the GT storyline starts 5 years after that. Future Trunks' timeline being 17 years ahead of GT is right around the same year in universe. Cell died in the present timelines year 767. So add 17 years ahead for Trunks' timeline to get when he came back to his time and killed the Androids; the year 784. Then 3 years into the future is when Future Cell comes to kill Trunks and go back to the present but Trunks destroys him. That would be the year 787. So what you said is just some nonsense to make yourself and others believe you know what you're talking about but you haven't the faintest. The start of GT is the present timelines year 789 and when Future Trunks kills the Androids and then Cell in his future timeline is the year 787. All that math to say, what I wrote is at least close to being accurate and has detail to back it up. Whereas your response is equivalent to throwing up word vomit and expecting that to be good enough. Try harder to not push down others to make yourself appear smart, just try a little bit
@@thedevilsleutice its too surface level. What I wrote makes some sense to answer why the devs may have chosen to create this because strength-wise it absolutely makes zero sense. So this other reason I put some thought to might be the exact depth needed instead of reductionist "beliebe meh" type of replies
Aw man this was it. My first real DBZ Game. I had some Budokai 3 Matches at a Friend's house, but BT1 was the real Deal. I always missed that little Garage Area in the City Map 😄
Dbz tenkaichi 1 was something else bc we only had 3d characters in 2d fighting style like Tekken for db games but this one hit really different. That’s when I became a big fan of tenkaichi series.
SS4 Gogeta's custom sparkly aura is something I loved since it's straight out of the anime... I wish they kept it in BT2&3 TENK1 was one of the games of my childhood
best bt, the ost, the menu, the atmosphere, the super saiyan model shine totally nailed in this game and never seen after. This game had few things but very well done and nicely put together
The greatest intro and OST of any Dragonball game ever. Maybe rivalled by Budokai 3. But that into defined badass, despite the hilarious Bromance flirting smirk at the end :D
The "what if" arc where you play as all the villains was by far my favorite. Bojack Vs. Ultimate Gohan, Mecha Frieza Vs. SS3 Goku, Cooler Vs. Gogeta, etc. Clearly they all would've gotten washed aside from maybe Broly Vs. SS2 Vegeta, but it was still really cool.
I've always assumed the Trunks vs Gogeta thing was meant to show Trunks surpassing Goku and Vegeta at their best so he can defend his timeline and rebuild and carry it on his own (gee, sure would suck if a sequel years later treated Trunks and his world as a disposable toy/wasteland) And since tag fights aren't a thing in this game they have to pick a fusion It being ssj4 is kinda weird but again, meant to be them at their best (imo) My favorite what if was the plan to conquer earth Also in the Cell what if Goku is ssj2 vs Cell, I just felt that was worth mentioning Sad that not all the characters from this game will be in Sparking Zero but *sigh* what can ya do
Chaotzu never won a fight on screen that wasn't anime filler. His abilities and 'creepy doll' fighting style were suppose to be a big surprize for Krillin in the 22nd Tenkaichi Budokai, so we don't see him beating people up in the preliminaries but given what a rough time he gave Krillin we can assume he mopped the floor with them. He also gets taken out off screen by cyborg Taopaipai in the 23rd. Didn't even bother showing it, Toriyama moved the poor guy to sub-Yamcha territory before we were even in DBZ.
It blow my mind the first time i played that game. A game that actually played like the tv show. That was unheard of back in the day. We had the dbz Budokai series & a ton of bad games in America at that time. Three good gba games too 🤔 that being said. People are still playing part 3 of this game more then any other old dbz game by a mile. It wasa big milestone
It's really cool to gwt this what if stuff. I wish we got more of it in DB games. Good thing Sparking Zero has a whole story mode with what ifs. Hopefully there's some more interesting ones.
In super hero trunks speaks through gotenks So this game may have done this early (There may be filler where this idea happend in the buu arc or super arks)
Kind of thought you would show the What If where a bunch of villains come back to beat everyone defending Earth, then once thats done they beat each other up till the last man stands.
When Trunks said "I don't deserve to live" I thought it was just an interpretation of what he actually says after losing to Cell. But then everyone else just kept repeating it... why did they keep reusing the exact same line?
High Speed Rush High Power Rush Kamehameha Super Kamehameha Full Power Energy Volley Would have been nice if these moves didn't account for like 50% of the special moves across the whole cast.
Each one has a special things to me , the first one had the best music to me , the story mode had some of the best dialog to me I would always play it just for its version of the story mode I never cared about playing the same story over and over mf be saying that and watch the same anime series over and over again 😂
Despite all the DBZ games that have come out over the years, BT1 has the most badass and authentic Intro of all of DBZ games of the Franchise. BT2 and BT3 in my opinion still remains the most Unique and the best DBZ games in terms of content, quality and fanservices. And from the gameplay perspective aspects, these DBZ games that I mentioned are very close to the anime itself because of the Vibe and Charm, I don't know how to describe it but it was, and still is the most Unique DBZ experience you could have with the combat factor. (- Sheer amount de of characters - Transformations mid-battle (powering up and down) - Fusions mid-battle - Fast gameplay that has that "woah" feel - Tons of extra content - Story mode covering all sagas + movies - What If sagas - Shenron having permanent impact on game (character unlocks and whatnot) - Great tournaments that rotate availability - Edit characters with items (buffs) - 5v5 battles - Really Great and Epic Soundtracks - Destroyable environments - Entire stages could be blown up into their "destroyed" alternatives - Mission 100 being a great challenge - Artwork is 10/10 - Sound effects are great - Combat feels heavy and satisfying) Only Budokai 3, Infinite World and the Raging Blast 1 and 2 and all of PSP DBZ games except of Dragon Ball Z Evolution are still considered also very solid DBZ games, also the hidden gem that a lot of DBZ fans missed from PS2 Era of DBZ games is "Super Dragon Ball Z" which is also a real Unique and DBZ game, especially for the different gameplay aspects perspective.
So when i first played this game ,during the ginyu fight i was kicking his ass till he pulled off a body swap and i thought o it be like bt2 or 3 where he swap with some random character, and i was wrong he swapped body and health with me so i was shocked and then the CPU got a combo off nearly killing me but luckily i managed to use body swap to the swap back and killed him. literally some anmaie shit happened
Sorry Globku but Cell absorbing Super 17 probably never will happen since Super Dragon Ball Heroes is ending. Unless it happens in game that is replacing it, DB Super Divers.
Ngl the editing of pacing of this video was kinda weird compared to the bangers u drop too many quiet and awkward spots n felt like the video didn't have a purpose it should've been a ranking video instead
