Thanks and I am new to your channel and to paracording. I just did 'practice' leash in the cobra. I can never seem to get the amount of cord needed correct - perhaps because of the type of weave being used? Anyway, my 'practice' leash is now a traffic leash LOL. Thanks for your instruction - I'll be following!

Hi Kevin, I am so new to this craft that after making only 2 bracelets I found your channel & your Etsy shop. I only knew how to tie a square knot before this, but because you have been so kind and have shared your knowledge through video I felt I could jump in and make this dog leash - which I did! Woohoo! But...I don't know what to do with the 4 ends of paracord coming through the double lanyard knot inside the handle. Could you link me to instructions or tell me what to do? I would love to share a photo with you on how I did a little something with my own whimsy in starting the leash weaving on the swivel spring clip - it looks fun and gives you a place to grip in your palm when operating the clasp. I don't know how to do that here so I'll send it to you on Etsy. Thank you so very much! Kerry

Hi Kerry, I sent you a message thru Etsy. "You can simply trim and singe the loose cords or instead of the lanyard knot, you could tie 4 separate overhand knots pulling them tight. once tight, you can lace the cord inside of the snake weave on the handle. then you can trim and singe them, tucking them under the snake weave to hide them." I really needed one of these, but I just couldn't find them leads-with-ring (how I want to call them) at any pet shops. thank you very much for the tutorial.

Hi Jewel, do you mean the "Clasp" that attaches to the collar? Try your local hardware store, they are a little more expensive for one, but if you only need one it's the best way to go. Thanks for stopping by and taking time to view and comment -Kevin

So cool! I'm wondering.... instead of the second lanyard knot, after running the lead paracord through the handle lanyard, could you then weave them into that lanyard like you would with accent cords?

Hey M0D0C, you are the Man with a vision for sure. That is an awesome idea, it will definitely take a little more time and be an advanced way to create it. I may give that a try in one of the remaining two videos to see how it turns out. Thanks again for the great ideas!

Hi Giorgi, Take two pieces of 20' cord, start in the middle, tie a double lanyard knot. Start tying the cobra fora bout 40" then attach the lead section to the handle like the other videos. I want to know how to attach the lead section to the handle like your leashes that you are selling. I meen that i don't want to have a big knot inside the handle

Giorgi Cherkezishvili Hi Giorgi, 1. Run the strands of the lead section thru the double lanyard knot of the handle so all four leads are inside the handle. 2. Tighten up the double lanyard knot on the handle as tight as you can. 3. Tie an overhand knot so the cord is facing out of each lead, you should have 4 separate knots and 4 separate leads. 4. Run each separate lead underneath one of the the snake knot loops for about 8-10 loops. 5. Trim and singe the leads then work them back under the snake weave loops. I hope that helps Thanks -Kevin

Hey Kevin, on the green and yellow one, did you just run the leads back through the handle all the way around?

Hi Bobby, on the green and yellow, I tied an overhand knot separately on each lead then ran it tru the handle about a quarter of the way around. that keeps it from pulling thru and hides the singe points. Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
