Hello, I watched your videos on creating a dog leash. I used the snake weave for the handle and the cobra weave for the main portion of the leash. I attached the clasp at the end with the round crown sinnet. Can you tell me how to cleanly end the cobra weave for this leash?

Thanks for the tutorial. I agree with Bill Evans in a way (aside from the negativity ;p) Took me nearly an hour of trial and error to get the knots right. I think you are neglecting to say that you are turning the leash and looking down from the side rather than from the flat surface. On each knot you turn it to the other side view. Its fairly confusing as on most other tutorials its always flat surface view. . for those struggling on this.. pull the loop up and hold it so that the loop is on the top (thin side) rather than on the flat surface.. pull the middle cord through. leave it loose for your next loop. grab the (new) middle cord and pull that tight. turn 90 degrees. you now have a new (loose) loop on the top again... grab middle cord.. go behind... through loop.. leave it loose again... pull new centro cord tight.. Hope that helps :)

Great video and how to, just a thought, wouldnt it be easier to use fids so you didnt have to keep pulling back on the cord to do the next pass? just a thought take care!

How do I attach a carabiner to the handle? I want to make a two peace myself, but I want a carabiner on the handle, and then a loose leash. I have a dog that will weight 160 LBS (70-75kg) when he's an adult (is a pup now) so it has to be strong. Thanks a lot! Just made one of the dogtoys whole with this tutorial, the rope was broken!
