This is an excellent short story/novella. The author could legit publish this in a magazine and get a fair penny for it. And as per usual, the narrator is spectacular. A fantastic production all around.

So if you didn't know. There is a whole series based in this multiverse/universe. The stories include: 1. My friend has been living in an alternate reality 2. I am a swat officer who was sent to investigate incident at a middle school 3. My friends and I tried shooting a found-footage horror movie 4. The local theater recently screened a movie called "Mr. Blank" 5. What happens when two rituals are performed at the same time, in the same building 6. I'm a guard stationed at a secret government prison. 7. I was contracted to help conceal a UFO crash 8. I'm a contract killer my latest target wasn't human.

I really like this author's series of stories. I tried listening to the rest of "my friend has been living in an alternate universe" on another channel and it was really hard for me to follow. Not the story's fault, I just can't follow most narrations. I have ADD and you're one of the only narrators that can hold my attention, for any amount of time lol. I hope that you narrate more of their stories. Also the music in this one really helps set the tone. Idk if it's a violin or cello or what, but it really helped me imagine the darkness of those scenes. I love it.

This is one of the stories I find myself coming back to. It has helped me so much in my journy through life. The narration is beyond incredible and it's always just as good as listening to it the first time. I can't even count how many times I have listened to it. Every couple of month at least. Probably won’t see this response but what he saw was the calamity which is a eldricth being , I used to be stationed a prison by the same guy has the calamity . As described in that story a being of colour and shapes not explainable tk humans . Here’s the really freaky part . It’s moving closer to us but whenever someone looks at it apparently gets faster . this is some SCP type shit... Wait a moment, maybe this is a SCP story!? Think about it, men in tactical gear shooting at monsters, men in suits taking anomalous objects (the laptop) inter-dimensional horrors, countless shifty and shady organizations, the usage of the word redacted and putting things in containment, this HAS to be an SCP tale.

They're a type of story similar to a creepypasta, but revolve around a highly secretive, clandestine organization (simply just called the Foundation) who operate around the world trying to secure and contain anomalous entities and objects that could pose a serious threat to humanity.
