Hey Patrick, I'm a freelance video editor and have been working with a client. (I look forward to your valuable advice!) First time was a good experience working together but the client has been delaying the second project, it's been more than 5 months. He paid me the 50% advance though. Initially he wasn't responding to me on time. I understand people are busy but I feel he doesn't seem serious. He doesn't seem to respect my time and efforts. He asked me to put the project on hold for some reason. I'm halfway through completing the project, I just need his approval of using different content pieces in it. I worked really hard for this project. I don't know what to do. Whenever I try following up, he either doesn't respond for a week or comes up with an excuse. I think he changed his mind, want me to say NO and return his advance. (I'm not sure) Should I say No to him or wait for his response? I don't want to sound rude or disrespect him. I'm perplexed. Please help! Thank you!
