I have 2 cs buddies that need to watch this video. One of them makes excuses for every other death blaming the game or ping or timing. The other is far too brutal with his feedback. Roasting everyone all game long. A tilting amount of negative energy. A lesson I loved from my time playing football was that there are two things we can truly control in life, our attitude and our effort. If we focus on those results will follow.

That's a great mindset. I've realized how many core values/mindset things I've learned from playing sports and it's crazy how they've affected my approach to cs as well

This is something not often talked about but incredibly important, you can't do anything without failure in life that's why it's great to look at failure positively, very important video and another banger.

well said! if it helps, i find bodyblocking and teamflashing helps push my teammates to their limit - even if they're a little rude with their feedback, i know i'm helping them learn to adapt and that makes it all worth it 😊

U can Project this onto everything else in ur life, first thing comming to my mind was going to the gym, i try to see csgo the same way, maby im not the highest rank but i can feel getting better week by week and thats the thing that counts not how mutch games u win or lose.

learning from failure. learning from why you just died is a concept that N0thing has been preaching for years. It def needs more recognition and awareness cuz enough people still dont know. great vid

you can always tell who played sports or been on some type of team environment vs the people who haven't in cs. never in my life of any team play have I had people that would put you down for mistakes. yes feedback is important because some people handle certain situations better than others may but putting your teammate down is the last thing you want to do when everyone has the same goal in mind and thats winning

I shared the video with my friends with all my pure feelings for their good. I know these and I am trying to implement them. But sometimes people forget. And most of the time I forget too. Thank you so much for reminding me with this video. In a game guide, it's amazing and helpful to mention the hand, the persons mindset that controls the mouse, before talking about how you supposed to control the mouse with your hand.

I learned this mindset from playing chess. If you lose in chess, you truly have nobody to blame but yourself, and you have to figure out where you went wrong and how to fix it, and you also have to make sure you don't repeat your mistake. Great video as always, you talk about this very cleanly

Here is a tip to whoever might need it. When you get into a duel, I want you to fight as if you're going to miss your shots. That might sound counter-intuitive, but bear with me. When you take a shot assuming you're going to get the frag, you're going to be surprised if you don't, and you're not going to have a backup plan. When you don't have a backup plan, you're going to panic spray. Your backup plan, that you're going to assume you need to use is to rapidly reposition and take another shot. Assume you're going to have to keep doing this. If you do hit the shot, then great, you're already repositioning as if you hadn't. That means you're ready to take another engagement immediately and potentially avoid getting traded. If you miss, you're not surprised, and you're still alive and ready for the next attempt. Just try this mentality. Burst and move as if you're going to need to shoot him again. Now I'm not saying never spray, but most of us spray too much and don't burst and stutter-step enough. That's because they're focused on the outcome of the duel and are momentarily taken out of the zone if they miss the shot, so they try to force the frag by spraying. Don't do this.

The first one took my fear away. And not in csgo. I paint canvases. My approach is random and experimental, this is what has been giving me a way to express myself without anxiety of a failed result. But I do indeed want to push my limits and go past what I can do now, this is way more important than a couple failed canvases! Thank you so much! PS my fav csgo channel 🥰

A lot of people skip over the bare minimum and think just because they play more they will get better. I hate this thought process most players have learn smokes, learn flashes, learn one way on the spots you always play and for gods sake, if you see a bot teammate dry peeking sht give throw some flashes and smokes to better his odds at surviving

Completely off topic but with the vertigo gameplay in the background I had a cool idea. Say you are on t-side and rotating from ramp to hit B, theres maybe a good chance the cts are in a forward position... what if you did the run boost teams sometimes do at the start of the round? Might be stupid but just a thought 😂

2 first lessons are more of a life lessons. It's very important to understand them just to be less stressed and more productive. Third lesson is CSGO specific and it will work only after you implement two lessons before. I've been realising this for some time. The group of people you are playing with is key foctor to be succesful in the game. No matter how many hours you spent on self improvement. If you dont cooperate with people, the team loses. I mean not only in game, but also in improving together.

@@WilsonCS2 Thanks for your response. Thing is, I'm actually doing a lot of those maps and I think my crosshair placement, counter strafing, etc. is pretty good. However in real matches people move and quite randomly too. Right now I'm basically gambling in every of those gunfights and I can't seem to figure out how to improve it. All the guides and training maps I find seem to never address this, as if it's the most natural thing to do and needs no explanation. It's kinda frustrating because I'm improving in other aspects of the game but this is so fundamental that it slows down any progress.
