I really don't like the "Super Predators". They look too bulky and kind of ridiculous. I by far prefer the look of the tall but more thin and ripped style of Predators with different armor bits. I wish they focused more on Predators being more skilled and that is what makes them dangerous rather than the "bigger is better" monster crap. AVP 2 had my favorite individual predator, because they made him more like a veteran who has already earned his stripes and has nothing to prove rather than the "rookies on safari" like in all of the others. Unfortunately, despite a promising start they made him kind of an idiot by the end which was disappointing... and the movie itself REALLY sucks. The Jungle Predator is my second favorite as it is iconic looking. Then the Predator from the latest movie "Prey" which honestly looked great (but AGAIN, was ultimately an idiot). Then the captured and tortured Predator from "Predators". Then the Predator from "Predator 2". Then the actually skilled Predator "Broken Tusk" from AVP 1... And all of the rest were on the same level of "meh". Bigger is not better... they just look bulky, overexaggerated and pretty crappy in my opinion. I realise I'm 4 years late but here is a list of really decent PS4 games... Bloodborne The Witcher 3 - Wild Hunt (plus all DLC's) Star Wars Jedi - Fallen Order Ghost of Tsushima Red Dead Redemption 2 Alien Isolation Middle Earth - Shadow of War Marvel's Spider-Man Metal Gear Solid V - The Definitive Edition Mad Max (it is honestly great, heavily overlooked and unique. Plus as fellow Aussies you are kind of obligated) God of War X-Com 2 Sniper Elite 4 Hollow Knight - Voidheart Edition (made by some Adelaide South Aussie guys FYI) Cuphead The Banner Saga 1, 2 and 3 Horizon Zero Dawn Metro Exodus Civilisation VI No Man's Sky (especially following the April 6th 2023 update) Dragon Ball FighterZ Mortal Combat Ultimate 11 Injustice 2 Doom 2016 Doom - Eternal Resident Evil - Biohazard Resident Evil 2 (Remake) Elden Ring Dark Souls Remastered Dark Souls III - The Fire Fades Edition Grand Theft Auto V Persona 5 (not for everyone, but pretty damn good for those so inclined) Dragon Age - Inquisition Nioh Kingdom Come (flawed, but unlike other types of "these" games and still pretty good). I loved the idea of Topher Grace being the medic because the idea that you could just grab a pediatrician off the street and put him on the frontlines and expect him to be useful in any way feels like exactly something the Predators would do.

I'm not saying Predator is a masterpiece, but it's kind of astonishing that you guys believe Predators is a better film.

Mason, you should get a PS4 and just get Doom reboot and Spider-Man. Just take Uncharted 4 if you want that kind of game. Wolfenstein is awesome but it will give you the feels. Also God of War is awesome. P.S. Just take all the games you mentioned.

The minigun in the original Predator was a weapon that was supposed to be bolted to a godsdamned helicopter to be fired - it went on to create the entirely unrealistic trope that anyone who isn't Jesse Ventura can just casually carry, hold and fire one in a combat situation.

If I could be stuck on an island with anyone person, I'd pick these two and stay entertained forever.

Games for Maso!: Bloodborne, Dark Souls 3, Mad Max, Hotline Miami is a fun indie series, lots of good PS2 games from Rockstar (GTA, Bully,Warriors, Manhunt), Until Dawn, Hitman, Little Nightmares, etc.
