@IaroslavVakatsiienko I am not hating anyone. I am doing a podcast with my buddy Luis and talk as we were off camera. If somebody likes it or doesn't, we will see. We do what is fun for us, if you don't like it, do not watch it.

He was like “i don’t like that word, that word is this and that, it marginalizes this and that, I am for LOVE LOVE LOVE” bullcrap. Rogan was having none of it, and called him personally a nerd after that rant, was priceless.

He tenda to be a bit more aggressive towards people under him (Lex for example) and be very consient to peope above him (Musk).

Check online. He did not exactly teach. Check it online. Regarding the experts, this is what this guy does. He never takes a side so that he can continue to be "positive and friendly" to all possible future guests. It was also mega cringe when he traveled to Ukraine to see war. People there are dying and suffering, and he went as it is the lunapark.

On the first point, about being shallow, maybe you are right. The point is that he, imo, tries to be the "good" famous person. He lost me when he went to Ukraine. He had nothing to do there. It is not a lunapark. People are dying and suffering. Regarding the giving a fair shot. You can let anyone rant for 2h, but if you do not criticly ask questions, it is just a rant. Usually, he tends to throw softballs to the people who are more important than him, and be more aggressive with the people who are less important than him.

@user-fj9kt1zh2n he has built up his reputation by expanding his achievements over what they actually are. It is called creating a fake authority. I think it is fair to be transparent about it.

I think that in many of the interviews he holds back the questions, as podcasts interviews are PR. There were some topics imo he was just looking for views. For example when he jumped on the Kanye train. Imo Taleb saw better through the lines than we common human beings.

His research centered around deep learning applications to autonomous driving. Claim 2: He is only able to remain positive because he doesn't have a day job. Reply: this is possibly true but simply a weird complaint. We all know people that have day jobs and still find a way to be positive. Claim 2: Lex should apply his criticisms about ideology to Elon Musk. Reply: Lex did exactly that in his interview with sam Altman at 34:15 Claim 3: lex is a scam artist because he was a guest lecturer at MIT but uses his MIT email address. Reply: MIT was the last person to employ Lex and he worked there up until 2023. This claim is just patently false. Claim 4: Lex believes that doing podcasts is important and that is false. Reply: Long form audio is as far as I see it the best antidote to short form, polarizing, surface level BS that has become the norm of cable news and social media. Claim 5: Joe rogan hasn't had democrats on his show. Reply: let's assume this is hyperbole, nonetheless he has had Bernie, Andrew Yang, Kyle Kulinski, Krystal Ball, David Pakman, Abby Martin, Jimmy Dore, Bill Maher etc. I am unsure if anything this guy pointed out was useful or accurate besides his critique of Jordan Peterson. Sadly my guy JP has lost his way somewhat. Nonetheless I hope whoever Luis and George are can have a future of positive podcast convos and reach success without tearing others down. Or at least if they do tear them down I hope they do it in an accurate way.

I am going to explain what my issue is. I, George, am a tennis fan. My favorite tennis player right now is Jannik Sinner. Yesterday, #Sinner was trending on Twitter. I went to check it out, and the first 20 tweets were some bs christian pages. This is what I mean by "ruined twitter". If it was just you get more "right news," I would be ok. That is fine. But it just got worse to get any news.
