The Raccoons soundtrack - Calling You (Album Version) 

This is from the soundtrack album for the fourth Raccoons special 'The Raccoons: Let's Dance!', released in 1984. This song was originally featured in 1983's 'The Raccoons and the Lost Star' and was written by Kevin Gillis and Gerald Tripp.
You may notice that the vocalist is different. That's because there was some kind of contract issue which meant John Schneider couldn't feature on the soundtrack album. As a result, other singers were brought in to record new vocals - that's why I posted this as 'album version'. The vocalist here is Frank Floyd, the lead singer of New York funk group The Writers as well as the male lead vocalist of the studio group Consumer Rapport. Apart from changing John Schneider's voice with other singers, there were no other changes to the songs for the album as far as I'm aware.
