Your audio is super low and hard to hear. All that equipment and you cant make it loud enough to hear? Check your clip/ peak monitor, I bet your levels are no where near clipping.
Also I went to his special in mobile Al about 2-3 years back. He advertised the show as him doing like live stunts and shit. Allllll that fucker did was play a video about his life journey with a few easy dick stunts. Nothing done on stage besides stand on a stool at the end for everyone to take a picture. Pure bullshit honestly. And Steve o was my favorite jackass member and all that. I grew up in the jackass erra and was stoked to go. Just to watch a video I could watch on RU-vid. Crazy fr. Respond please and let me know if you heard this before. Great vids btw. Very critical but that’s your thing.
The only Jackass original who doesn't come off as an arse hole in real life is Chris "Party Boy" Pontius. He really does seem to be unaffected by fame.
He definitely was affected. He looks completely different in the eyes. That could also be the loss of Ryan. I agree that he seems genuine as can be though! Would be real cool to hang out with, unlike most of the rest of the guys lol
@@michaelgriffin5304completely false. It's as false as when people say bam began drinking because of Ryan's death which is not true. Ryan took bam to rehab back in 2006.also during the unholy reunion you can tell bam was a alcoholic. He was drunk the entire 5 or 6 episodes.
Its sad seeing guys in their 50's so desperate for attention from strangers. Steveo shit on Schuab and people realized he's not any better. This is how rich kids have mid life crisis lol
It’s not that sad, it’s their job. Their entire business is built upon a reputation that has been painstakingly assembled over years of work. True, some if them are “rich kids” or whatever, but to be a comedian who has the respect of (most) of their peers, and a decent fanbase takes years of dedication and commitment and going through failure. It’s not really surprising to me at all that these people are upset by online hate. It’s actually the same for any business. Reputations matter. Also, comedians tend to be people who have social and emotional scars, so that doesn’t help. I hate it when people you respect turn out to be dicks, but if we are going to take shots at them online, we should be at least fair about it.
@@Takaichi666- Damn glad to hear it! I was just thinking in general that most of the crew have moved on to have other things as their main focus in life, and not trying to cling on to whatever persona they had 20+ years ago
@@derichawes3765I remember in 2007 he crashed the wutang memorial concert for ol dirty bastards and this guy runs on stage naked pissing everyone off. I thought he died then 2007 .
Steve-O is way too insecure for his level of fame and seems way too business oriented, he is losing focus and seems desperate. His podcast is not good, he barely talks and it is jam packed with terrible advertisements.
This^ His podcast is unbearable with product shilling. Butt whipes, hot sauce, bidets, skateboard decks, shirts, tickets, other merchandise, etc. It is unbearable.
He basically is a walking ad and honestly I think he’s run out of things to do that are crazy and his stories are kind of repeating themselves I love the guy but he needs to stay off the internet for a bit
Same I have a low tolerance for ads and a burning hatred for living advertisements like Stevo I used to have a fairly neutral opinion of him till the podcast I saw him on tv as a kid and felt sorry for him he always seemed to be in a bad head space and putting himself in the most danger I didn't have a negative veiw of him he just seemed desperate When the pod came out I thought huh that could be interesting I'm sure he has some wild connections i watched a few episodes and decided to let it develop a bit when I came back it was awful he himself isn't very interesting his voice isn't interesting the guests were sort of interesting but he never let them be interesting he used them like a prop he doesn't understand people watch for the guest he isn't the star of the show
Exactly. If you're not strong enough in it you shouldn't put yourself in a situation to kill anyone else's fun who wants to also if you can't trust yourself not to use are you really even okay being sober to begin with? I can be around people just fine because *I don't want to get high.*
But it literally just showed people drinking whiskey in front of him. I have no opinion on it one way or another. I don't know enough about it to base an opinion. Just saying what I just saw.
Makes sense but I mean hey, he was sooo deep so just because he knows he can't surround himself with anyone who consumes any amount of alcohol or drugs because of how impulsive he is
My manager went to see Steve-O's show live and said he was incredibly thin skinned and threatened to walk off stage when some drunk woman started heckling him.
I've seen him live and it is true. The moment someone heckled him he kicked the person out and threatened to walk out if they didn't leave. Extremely thin skinned
Steve-o's goal is just to stay relevant. He has admitted his biggest fear is to not be famous. It is honestly just sad and pathetic to watch a 50 year old man care this much about how strangers think of him.
What’s up with these comedians and the tough guy act 😂 never forget Joey Diaz threatening violence on a woman because she’s “ guilty of laughter “ Funnier than any joke they’ve told.
@@squatchit5700 no, I'd rather enjoy listenable music during breaks. Mr. Bar said himself that music is a big part of the show. It's just a shame they have such horrific taste in it.
Hey, look....a podcaster interviewing another podcaster....who also interviewed him.....and they both interview all the exact same people.....who were also interviewed by those very same people..... *WHO IS WATCHING A STEVE-O PODCAST IN THE FIRST PLACE??????*
When he ran face first into Mike Tysons fist.... that still makes me cringe from his sheer desperation for attention. His comedy is just sad and embarrassing.
Steve-o sucks. Most people in sobriety RUN from people like him. I’m 4 years sober and I can’t stand people like Steve-o. I’m glad it worked for him but he isn’t everyone and he doesn’t get that.
It helps that his dad is a millionaire and Steve went to a 20k per month rehab and has the best doctors and physiatrists available. He acts like anyone can get sober like him when most people can barely get by. He's so insufferable
THIS!!! He has an amazing sobriety story, but he's not like the rest of us. I don't exactly know how to describe it. It's almost like his personality got worse after sobriety instead of the other way around
@@hbginc4553 I totally agree. Stevo makes sobriety his entire personality and it gets kind of annoying. He had every advantage that the vast majority of people don't have access to. Someone making 30k per year can't take two months of work and pay 50k for a rehab program. That's why I have so much respect for the average person who manages sobriety.
The tasteless product plug during the Bam interview, the bag o' sponsors he brought into Rogan and letting his media mask slip during other people's podcasts was a rough series to watch unfold. And this was all before the Bill Maher stuff.
@@Gekkco Imagine going on Snoop Dogs podcast where you know he's going to smoke and that's part of the whole vibe and then you show up and tell him he can't smoke. Steve knows Bill smokes on his podcast and Steve decided to be a guest anyway and then had the nerve to tell Bill what to do on his own show. If Steve can't be around weed he should have never booked that show. Bill Maher his a massive a-hole and I don't like him but that situation was totally Steveos fault. Bill didn't do anything wrong.
He wants to get fake boobs and act like he’s a 20-year-old prankster, but he wants to preach about being sober and and other things that boomers preach to people after they get sober.
Exactly! I’m so confused. I thought his new persona was sober, mature guy, have my shit together now then I hear about his newest stupid AF stunt to get D cups then get them taken out couple months later. Seriously for “man” his age this is the most ridiculous attention seeking, wanting to be relevant idea he’s had. 😏
Somehow he doesn't seem to understand that attention doesn't necessarily mean praise. If he wanted to do his boob prank, he could've done it without getting surgery. Tells you that he wanted the hot spotlight for no other reason than "wow how crazy," just seems like he can't differentiate from righteous crazy vs actually insane crazy
You hit the nail on the head about sober boomers, just shut up and let people go wild and enjoy life and learn stuff the same way you got to. People always act like they always know best are lame asf
His voice makes him unique . He’s handsome . I never dealt with alcohol problems but I still find him and Bobby discussions on sobriety interesting . ( Steve o )
It’s wild watching formerly famous people still have a platform where we get to see them cope as they fail as their 15 minutes are up. It’s a new thing that because of social media/youtube.
Steve O not knowing anything about Danny Brown was bogus af. 2lazy channel doesn’t really make fun of these guys he kinda just spits facts and points out the stupid shit they do that everyone sees
Definitley plays it a lot more straight forward than the Australian dude on Podcast Cringe who is trying to be entertaining and has less opinions than Comedy Enforcemnet too.
Exactly. They’re caught up in the idea that everyone is a 2010’s style troll looking for attention when in reality, it’s people with legitimate criticisms, who otherwise might be fans if they (Burt, schaub, etc) weren’t so cringe and insufferable.
@@alanmacdonald1457 he a rapper.. def not mainstream- he’s strange and kinda weird but original. Listen to his song Grown Up, you’ll like it. However w that said, if you were going on his show/ podcast, you should at least know he’s a rapper or creates music. A quick google before going on someone’s show is just basic respect
Yeah, I've never understood the hype. I realize that many of us grew up on him and it's nice seeing him do well and trying to be a good influence, but his interviewing is really nothing special.
That one I get. He takes his sobriety seriously, and nobody is entitled to force drugs on people that don't want them. I smoke weed myself, and it is the least harmful drug. It's still a drug that alters consciousness. If people don't want it, you can put down the spliff for two hours. That said, there are plenty of reasons to tell Bill Maher to kiss your ass; that one is pretty low on the totem pole.
I hate Schaub as much as the next guy. But Steve O breaking the unwritten rule of trashing a fellow comics work, shows he'll always be a guest in comedy
"Well is there negative videos about Theo [Von]" ~ Stevo Maybe a few, but there aren't hundreds like there are on other comics because Theo seems like a genuinely nice dude. He doesn't get himself into drama and he doesn't talk crap about other comics. Stevo is so lost up his own a-hole that he's lost perspective on everything. When Stevo was doing ridiculous stunts on Jack Ass and Wild Boys people liked him. When he started comedy and a podcast people saw his actually personality and heard his takes on pop culture and his philosophy on life, and many people realized he was just a thin skinned, narcissistic, clown.
It is interesting that all the big youtubers live in this fantasy where criticism is never positive, it is all haters and cowards attacking their 'brilliant art'.
If Tony isnt gay water isn't wet, I saw him in michigan opening for Rogan years ago and it was so fucking bad I could not believe he was funny too anyone at all. It's mind blowing that Rogan a not funny comedian promotes not funny comedians and were all just supposed believe their funny because Rogan gave him his endorsement. This is not negative hate this is my literal experience watching hingcliff.
Fantastic advice in the last minute of the video! I actually did this just the other day. I typed out what my issue was and how I felt offended and hurt but instead of pressing send, I put it in my notes for a day and then erased it. It saved me from furthering the conversation and conflict and I walked away with a little more closure than I would’ve had. Great videos and insight brother, keep on keeping on 🤙🏼
ANY COMMENT I ever write, I would certainly say to anyones face. I love how celebrities go straight to "haters" when people dislike their changes lol. He used to talk about these channels as if they were the greatest ever when it came to BRENDANS downfall lol
I give it 18 months before his comedy career and podcast are completely irrelevant. It's not that he's not that funny, which he isn't, but he's actually unlikable and hard to listen to. He just wines, complains, and makes excuses for his own terrible personality.
@acetate909 ya. Anytime he highlights personal things (wife, friends, how he handles himself, how he treats others) he does not seem like the greatest of humans
The comments I write are typically things I have said to people's faces. The hell is Steve-O or anyone going to do? Assault someone on camera and get sued as well as an assault charge? I can do that and only get an assault charge or flat out get away with it because I'm not famous.
Steve-o not understanding that his desperation to stay relevant is the reason he gets hate is almost beautiful. Steve-o was great as a memory for simpler times. He's not someone whose opinion needs to be heard. He's not a good interviewer. What nostalgia could you possibly be receiving from his podcast? Him peddling merch is just the cherry on top of the "i don't genuinely care about this; I just want money right now"
like 3ish years ago , I think. Steveo spent 5 minutes bitching at the audience for cheering and being excited for him in one of his canadian shows, with the sentiment being he just wanted to get the show over with, so the vibe stayed awkward. some ppl left. I can't imagine ever buying anything from him again
What the hell, and I’ll add to that i went to one of his live shows in Maryland and it was good but there was a point where he walked over to a guy and he like scolded him for using his phone during the show he went “dude you’ve bein on your phone for like the last 30 minutes put that fucking thing away or else security will throw your ass out” and the audience cheered for that
Worked at a State approved D&A rehabilitation center, and there are *soooo* many types of "recovered" addicts like this. Glad he got clean but his holier than thou attitude when he literally was given the chance that maybe 3% of addicts are afforded, is really graceless. He styles himself as this down to earth bro, but he's about as real as Charlemagne the God 😂 trading one ugly miserable addiction (money and fame) for another is par for the course for these types, unfortunately.
If Bert was actually funny and had the same drive, he would be unstoppable. Could you imagine the same high energy mixed with legitimately funny jokes?
@@frarfarf I don’t think he would be above that. Tbh I feel like he has a chip big enough on his shoulder from all the hate that he has gotten That he would gladly take the assault charge On someone disrespecting him to his face. Is not like he doesn’t have money to deal with it.
@@AllanThickDick well I’m with the herd on this one. The guy isn’t funny and is a tool bag. I’m shocked he has any fans at all. Figured his audience is low browed dipshits
Steveo is like that new skaters we hated coming around. Immediately using terms and having strong opinions on shit and they sucked at skateboarding. Just heavy into the culture aspect. Steveo isnt good at stand up or funny, this is just a new genre for him to be a part of.
I actually paid SteveO $ and saw his show live in Tampa. It was straight up more Jackass shit with mid jokes to set up each clip. His attitude was horrible. At one point people kept shouting "SteveO we love you" too much and he straight up stopped was he was about to say and told the entire crowd who paid money to be there that he was no longer going to say what he was going to say and said "if you only knew". I agree that shouting anything during a live performance is horrible but it showed how unprofessional he is and how he is not used to live crowds. He made it very clear to every one who was there that he is a diva who behaves like a teen ager when they don't get what they want. I understand it was a personal show to him but again....I paid money to be there and support him and not only was the hour mid AF and his jokes were not worth the money he is charging but then he lets us know that he wont do his best because of a heckler. Lots of better comedians you can see live for a cheaper price. He is riding on his past fame and I wish him luck but I wont give him any more likes, watch anything he is on, or give him any more of my money. I did unsubscribed from his channel as well. It has became real clear he is just doing this for $, he is not funny or talented, just does crazy shit in front of a camera, and is not worth my energy going forward.
The reason why Redbar is king is because he called out Lee for the Althoff-Bad Friends appearance and showed why she was actually justified in her behaviour as Lee was a total creep.
I would recommend that Stevo open a stray dog sanctuary and just document that, he doesn't need to prove anything else, trying to appeal to the younger generations is going to do the opposite as a try hard. He genuinely seems to love his dog and that part of him is still appealing. After all, he could only afford to be such a risk taker as a young man as he had/has a hugely privileged safety net if anything ever went wrong, in the form of a rich and indulgent Dad. Ditto his prior cavalier attitude toward drugs when a free to Stevo and luxury rehab place was only ever a phone call away.
@@TheGhostOfFredZeppelin That would be even better, but I don't think he'd keep it private as he clearly loves attention, maybe he can raise awareness and funds using his public figure for good.
I thought comedians were supposed to have thick skin. They're actually some of the most thin-skinned people when criticism is directed their way. Hypocrites.
I never thought I’d say this but I think it was better when Hollywood and radio was powerful enough to gatekeep who could broadcast and hold an audience.
I don't know, man. Steve-o isn't a comedian in my book to be enforced. He doesn't craft jokes he just shocks and people remember him from Jackass edit: Don't get me wrong, your content is great, I'm just kind of tired of only Rogansphere comics and just generally un-funny people
Should be illegal honestly. I've been having this issue lately that i respond to someone and the comment never shows up! I'm starting to think that at least 50% are because people cry. I think you respond to a comment the person who your responding to has the powet to let it post.
@@schicoj0179youtube hides them, if you sort comments by newest they should show up, but if you get reported and a 24 hour comment ban then your comments just wont show up until after the 24 hours, youtube is really bad about notifying you of the ban itll generally be hours after you get reported which must flag your account and pause your ability to comment.
none of these people are happy with the millions they've made. they don't know how to say enough is enough. then they blame everybody else for seeing through their cringey attempts to be bigger.
People see alot more of celebrities personalities because they share everything publicly. SteveO needs to just take it on the chin and roll with the punches.
Jackass only ever worked because it wasn't over-exposed. You got a movie here and there, a tv show here and there. None of that would have ever attracted the audience if new content of it was available on a weekly basis. That's what he doesn't understand; the overexposure. I love spaghetti but if I eat spaghetti every other day I get sick and tired of it. Shit, same thing goes for comedians. They're funnier when there aren't a hundred episodes of them yapping about the same old tired bullshit every week. The more exposed you are, the less mystique about you you generate, and the people turn off faster. A dab will do ya.
