The advanced troops of antifa came into your nearest town, trying to size up the middle of nowhere for the next hot spot and all the vets and all the bikers (sometimes the same) came out, sometimes open carry. And you had your own spec op surveillance going on to intercept ne'er-do-wells from going near places where "spontaneous combustion" might happen. And the finally realized that you would bring them the fight they didn't know they were looking for and then end it for them. And they decided better to move on down the road. There was literally a woman in a red dress parading around in the back during a portion of the trial.

I am 45 years old. I haven't ever seen bravery from the previous generation. I have seen bravery from my grandpa's generation. But all I have ever witnessed from my parents generation is being bullies over my generation. I can dress nice,keep myself well groomed,never am late,pay my taxes,always say yes and serve with a smile,just being a son to my country and community. And then,when I find scriptures that don't make sense to me and make a list of questions to pass around to all the elders who claim to be our shepherds while asking for them to please take their time and then help me understand. Instead of helping me...they threaten me with violence. They ghost me. They lay me off and never return my phone calls. All I want to know is what God's plan is for me. So,instead of following the rest of the people my age to the bars and the orgies and jail....I wake up and read 2 hrs before work,go build houses and power plants,come home to spend the evening with the wife and kids,put them all to bed,then read another 2-3 hrs before going to sleep. Wake up and do it all over again for the next 7 years. Doing all the etymology. Reading all the study guides. Researching the culture and the geography. I was so so hungry to know Gods word. To put on the armor of God. All I did was cause myself to be exiled by the community and everything I ever knew. I now live o. The other side of the country. I liquidated everything and moved. As I would much rather be treated with indifference by people who don't know me than by the people that I knew all my life. Still today,anyone who approaches me to "share the good news" with me I make them a deal. If they could please take my list of questions and go back to their study group and everyone take a serious look at them and then please help me make sense of them...then my family and I will be on the front pew each and every time those doors are open. With my tithing in hand. Without fail they set and listen to me explain how I got to these questions and scriptures. And then I send them off with several pages of scriptures and an open invitation anytime. They never show back up. I never see nor hear from them again. It is as if I was supposed to just take what I learned in sunday school and never show anything beyond that. And that is how my entire life has been. I am supposed to just take the info given to me and not question it. I can know how it works. But not the who,what,when,where or why. Instead of being admired and respected for showing initiative.....I am chastised for peeking behind the curtain to see the great and powerful oz. It is a cursed people who will exile a young growing family for enquiring about the same God that they introduced me to. "My people die for lack of knowledge." I guess I should have known my place. I made them all feel dumb. Or I became dangerous because I found out that they are all just pretending to know God in order to capture the hearts and minds and use them to live off of. But never really intending to walk with our Father. Telling everyone "he has risen!" Etc,etc,etc. While not even really knowing God. Not being able to see His fingerprints all over nature. And then afraid of anyone who does. So they have to discredit me before the community hears my words and compares them to a fantasy.

Much needed & well received message. I'm trying to not only motivate myself but my family on getting RID of the crap & clutter. Keep only what you love and is useful! My one concern with this minimalism movement is ppl are getting rid of useful stuff then sh*! gonna hit the fan and they won't have useful=needed supplies! I also agree that there are many distractions going on to help us fall down rabbit holes and ignore everything around us. I think that Astroworld concert is one of them! Rex, I can't stop looking at the spray foam. i would have gone another inch in a multi-use garage. Or, add an inch of K-13 spray-on cellulose. Good thermal barrier over the foam. adds R value, and helps tremendously with sound absorption.. Sorry, too many years in Fargo in that business ))) All said in good humor. If Kyle shouldn’t have been there then the protesters shouldn’t have been there either.. If they had the right to be there everyone had a right to be there. The media kept stating Kyle had no training. However his hit ratio was better than the average police shooting (way better). The Kenosha police should hire him as a range instructor. I'm a Marine Vet and a member of the American Legion. The reason I told is because I went to my employer asking if we at work could use time to place Flags on Veteran craves. My argue was we need to start showing are younger generations what life is about. Otherwise what's going in our towns and cities will continue. As a member of the Legion here in Wisconsin, practicing American isms is in our Oath. Telling Legionairs we failed, we failed because we allowed a 17 year do what we should be doing. I veiw happiness as in emotional conditional situations. Happiness comes and goes like birthdays and Christmas. While joy is a mental conditioning of your own mind and spirt under all the conditions you may experience. Joy supersedes happiness. Paul and Silas wasn't happy being jailed but counted it all joy. There's a definite difference between the two. I believe Rex was describing more of what joy is and not happiness. Happiness is a temporal emotional up stimulation, while joy is a stabilizing lasting peacefulness inwardly. My point is it's better to have peace and have happy moments than have happy moments and no peace.

Love it - my poor uncle in 64 took his hard earn money and signed his life to buy a house... Had is little boat in the garage as he worked on it - first daughter needed a place to store her things - so 9 years later his second daughter needed a place to store her things - then it was the youngest daughter turn to store her things 😊.... 28 years later - the wife decided now that all the crap is out, she needed a space to work her arts and crafts. My point is simple - in all that time he paid for a home to raise his family and only had two years of use of that garage 🥱. So enjoy your garage

That's what people don't understand. Protesting is a good thing. Protesting is a legit way to stand for what you believe in...PEACEFULLY. When it starts getting to where your burning and destroying people's business's/property, it's no longer a protest.

I learned that same lesson when I was self-employed. I found out I'm the worst boss I ever had.

Dear Rex: I hear you. I relate . And I have also a point of view. We look at daily events but fail to see the parallels of history repeating as if from the pages of scripture. As the riots were praised. And cities became violent. I saw the immersing of Sodom and Gammorah. This seventeen year old was training to be a police cadet. He had first aid/ medic training. And he knew how to handle weapons. I believe he went to see for himself what was happening. And helping in his own way those in need. He was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. I hear people say, if only he did not have a gun. If only he put down the gun. These people did not hear the testimony. Could not relate. Because they forgot “Cain” was out for blood . In the testimony, it was revealed that one of the protesters fired a pistol, and soon after, a chain of events occurred. Those on the hunt, thought he fired at them. And they went after him. Like a pack of rabid dogs. The two people shot, had a history with police. The third was lucky he was alive. But the biggest miracle was that little “David” stood up to “ Goliath” and survived his persecution to tell about it. I realize that seventeen is considered an adult. But as a parent, had I known what he was up to- I have two options: stand by him. Or not let him go. Now we are faced with the reality. Two died in self defense. The spin is, the leaders in this state is great at removing your rights to self defense. Flipping what is lawful and lawless. Redefining our language and laws. And wanted to persecute this case in the public . To instill fear. To make an example of a boy. So no one will dare do what he did. This case is not about guns. This case is about the conflict of Cain and Able. Men writes laws they have no intention to enforce. Law to construct the law biding. Criminals do not know laws. They don’t care. These are not obstacles when they are embolden by those giving them power. You see, we have a story to talk about to distract us from the crap coming out of the swamp. Politics created the environment . And we think this is random and removed. Can never happen to them. We see persecution. And do not relate or translate it from pages from the Bible. My prayers are for a just judgement. The crimes that have occurred are yet on trial. But the persecuted are. I pray God finds favor for this child. I think he should be set free. We shall see how he will walk away from the pit of lions he is in.
