In Brazil, my family always does olive oil + vinegar + lemon + salt + oregano + rosemary sauce. Always taste so GOOD, we eat salad like herbivores. Edit: It's not rosemary sauce, the rosemary is one of the ingredients.
@@snoozyq9576 bro why you so mad, the person meant that they liked salads that have colors, technically meaning multiple vegetables, alot of people only eat lettuce and tomatoes in their salad, so that person was glad other people were like them, or is there something that I'm not getting ?
It looks like the dressing ingredients are olive oil, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper. The herbs are a little bit harder to see because she pours it so fast and it doesn't focus. It looks to be a blend of herbs. Probably oregano and basil. The best thing about dressings and sauces is that a lot of the herbs can be interchangeable.

Made a salad very similar to this just yesterday! Same ingredients minus the romaine (hubs has trust issues w/ romaine - too many recalls for his comfort lol). For the dressing I just used olive oil, balsamic vinegar, a little lemon juice, and S&P. He loved it!
Thank you for giving a more thorough look into how some sensibilities have shifted regarding the dressing for a phone screen . A lot of other people have spoken about how social media has changed fashion ad nauseam but you got into another aspect that many have overlooked in these discussions.
@@KotNata These are canned chickpeas. But I imagine they would need to be soaked overnight or a minimum of three hours, and then boiled before they are added to a salad. That's how we do it anyway.
@@hollydaugherty2620 Im trying to tell them this person is using them canned which are already cooked. If theirs aren't canned, they need to soak and boil them. Also, i realise my wording is hella confusing.
That’s a pretty coarse chop of garlic for going raw in the dressing! I would probably halve the amount and mash it with some kosher salt using the side of my knife. A little garlic goes a long way! (And stays on your tongue for a long time!) haha! ☺️
I just wanna add bacon and blue cheese instead of feta the perfect protein pack salad thank you for this it’s a great reminder for us to eat more veggies….. So good🍑🥬🫐🍓🥑🥒🥕
I love chick peas, it's a great source of protein if you are vegetarian or vegan. I would do without feta cheese and opt for a ricotta cheese. I love cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, olives, radish, red onions, and carrots. Pakistanis and Indians make a similar salad. It's called a simple salad that we serve with any entrees. It's cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, red onions, and lemon. We make a dressing with yogurt, mint chutney, jalapenos, raw mango, salt, and pepper. We puree it and serve it and it helps cool down the spiciness of a dish.

This! Or shredded carrots, or red cabbage, or just about anything else that isn't slimy And no, we can't pick them out after they've already gotten tomato boogers all over everything 🤢
@@kai_macerationSalads don’t have to contain lettuce. Also, only iceberg lettuce is mostly water. Romaine and other lettuces are full of nutrients. You seem to have a strange concept of salad.

I also make my own dressing, instead of oil I typically use tahini or coconut yogurt. The best thing about making your own is you can put whatever you want in!
