►About the Game -
A game about television, insanity and a haunted house.
Experience "The Salvation Project" with your lovely host, Seth! He only says what's good for you! Most of the time...
In this game you will explore the house of a lone mother, left by everyone but the TV set in her living room. You play as this mother, and try to not lose your slowly deteriorating mind, fueled by the endless PSA's on your TV.
There are 2 possible endings that you can find.
Made in 48 days for the HPS1 Summer of Shivers game jam.

Recently came across your channel and enjoy watching the games you choose to play, I realize some games may contain language, but wish you wouldn't add to that by cursing in the things you say while playing. I'd like to share some of your videos with people I know, but they avoid stuff with cursing. When it comes to language I guess you can say, we care.

I love it when humor meets charming writing, witty commentary, and a strong focal point. Ker- I mean Seth really is an absolute joy. The writing is fun, but voice actor did an amazing job and really elevated it. 😂

They thought the books were demonic because they involved witchcraft. 😂 Also just realized the way I phrased it made it sound like they did it at the church but it wasn't like a church-sanctioned thing, just some of the very zealous parents took it upon themselves to burn/destroy the books their kids had bought.

But for some reason Lord of the Rings was fine because it in some twisted way in their minds had allusions to God and Jesus. we couldn't watch Harry Potter but LOTR was cool... Dumb dumb dumber. These days they're not really religious after they realized they were conned into being crazy zealots for years. so that's good.

That's some dark ages crusader level zealotry right there. I can't believe people are unironically like that, and my mom was the same. She thought the act of playing DnD would open portals to the worlds in the game and allow the demons and monsters there to cross over.

Ok how bout this, my mom wouldnt let my niece go to a small daycare in my little hometown because it was called "Mickey's Magic Playhouse"... simply because it had the word "magic" in it's name. Oh edit: And I can't think of anything more benign than my small group of friends and I rolling characters in our basements while joking about rolling a 1 in charisma trying to hit on the barmaids.. Blasphemy!!!

There is another ending that explains things a bit more if you manage to get all the photo pieces one in each mini segment. Spoilers: Basically the call at the end isn't demonic wailing but what I assume is her psychiatrist asking if she's alright and that he lost contact a week ago with her, she then says she needs help and wants to see her family. So Chris' comment about the son skipping town was spot on... but yeah she was having a mental break and was being influenced by the Salvation Project PSAs.

Now we can have a sequel where the son returns home, only to find it empty and dark. While searching for his mother, he finds notes written by her, in which she describes her efforts to summon "the manager". After performing the ritual yourself, you are granted the "manager's power". Then, it's up to you to decide: firing the Demon and free your mother (bad ending), or replacing your stuff from the furnace (good ending).

My mom is also a religious nut. Pokemon were demons to her, power rangers got their abilities from demonic possession, Yugi Oh cards had traped demons in them, playing DnD opened up demon portals to other worlds, and a slew of other craziness. I left home before I was legally an adult it was so bad.

I wanna say as an actual Satanist watching this it was hilarious. Normally games that use satanism as a 'horror' aspect make it super cliche and overused but this, id play it myself just for the laughs again.
