The Santa Clause is like the Bee Movie or Cars. The more you unravel it, the more insane it becomes.

This is probably the most loose caravan of garbage ever no real plot synopsis, breakdowns of specific scenes or anything, Just some Egg trivia and 2 men theorizing that Santa is a spirit hopping vessel to vessel. 10/10

I think the thing about who becomes Santa is that it is their destiny to be Santa. It doesn't all happen by chance but rather fate picks someone who needs to be Santa. For example, in this case Santa was someone who needed to spend more time with their son. It also made Scott become a better man.

Harrison Ford as Santa: "Get off my sleigh!" Denny's had a scandal in the early 1990s where they had been making black people pay for their meals before receiving them, when normally they don't make you pay until you're done eating.

I loved the third movie *Santa Claus: the flashpoint paradox.*

I think this is the movie that cemented my fascination with body horror. I never thought I would find a direct line between Tim Allen and Junji Ito but here we are.

James having a mental breakdown over a mediocre Christmas movie starring Tim Allen is way more entertaining than the actual movie is.

There's a scene in the novelisation, accompanied by a still from the movie so it was presumably filmed but cut - Scott sees a gallery of photos of past Santas and asks why there were so many. Bernard admits most Santas don't last long as it's so hazardous, in fact many/most Santas don't survive their first year. Charlie tells him that if that's the case, he doesn't want his Dad to do it. This then leads into the scene with the new safety features. So basically the elves aren't sad about the last Santa because they barely knew him and are used to new Santas showing up each year. This makes sense with the line in the second movie about how much happier kids are since Scott became Santa and why the elves have forgotten about "The Mrs Clause" - no Santa for the last century or so has lasted more than a couple of years so it's never really come up before!

This is just a 20 min James rant and I love it.

Yes, Jingle All The Way also had that "father doesn't spend enough time with his son" plot. That's why Arnie goes on a journey to battle Sinbad and get the elusive Turbo Man action figure for young Anakin Skywalker. Being a cyborg from the future, he sees his kid is gonna become Darth Vader because his dad missed too many of his karate school practices, and that Turbo Man doll is the only thing preventing the rise of both Skynet and the Galactic Empire.

This might actually be the greatest Caravan of Garbage I've ever seen. Fantastic editing from Ben, these two just digging way too deep into a children's movie's lore, and his Denny story.

I remember watching "another bloomin' christmas" as a small British child, where Santa hates his job and decides to go on holiday for the year and goes around the world in a red reindeer drawn campervan. I feel this is what harrison ford would do as santa.

So I'm just MINDING MY OWN BUSINESS, watching a RU-vid video about The Santa Clause of all things, and out of NOWHERE at 3:01 I see my favorite anime of all time pop up on screen with Lelouch wearing a Santa hat. Thank you Ben or whoever did that. It made my whole week.

This is my favourite Christmas movie, I watch it every year without fail. As corny as it is, I always get chills at the end. Also, I can't believe this movie actually KILLED Santa. It's a little dark for a children's movie and I love it.

I thought I’d come back to this to say that The Santa Clauses (2022) establishes that Tim Allen was specifically chosen to succeed the Santa he manslaughtered.

I actually have always loved this movie. Big Christmas tradition is to watch this and a couple others films during Christmas. This movie has a lot of magical moments. The whole North pole feels very warm and magical too. Thats what I love about it.

Nah, Denny’s was accurately depicted. Every American city and town has excellent diners you should visit, instead. It would be like going to Italy and visiting Olive Garden.

My Denny's story was that this older dude was serving us. By the time he served our last dish, we saw his thumb and it was dead (the entire top half of the last digit). Then we saw an imprint on our friends pancake. We all let out a collective sigh as we began to eat our breakfast

There are almost 2.5 billion Christians. Let's say 1.5 billion celebrate x-mas where there is gift-giving. Seems conservative, but let's stick with that. Let's be generous and say Santa can do each house in 3 minutes. That would mean it would take Santa over 8,500 years from his own perspective to deliver presents every year. Yikes, dude.
