It's funny as hell to me that at this point, 'Anissa' has became something like a trigger word for Invincible Comic Book Readers. And being one myself, I can't blame them.

The 4th wall break happened in the comics, too. 😂 Similar to how details about cutting corners in animation are done and highlighted in the animated show, the comic also highlights how cutting corners by reusing art helps the comic artist handle the sheer workload involved in making comic panels.

The Amber re-write was such a good choice. They really pulled her out of the garbage and stuck the landing. Poor kids. Rough life.

Bulletproof may have stupidly punched a hive mind, but so far, that's his only fuck up. He has a tiny bit of room to complain.

So far The show makes a good point about superhero civilian relationships. They have the same thing that relationships with someone in the military have, where the SO can be sent away to fight at any time with no guarantee of coming back. It’s just made worse by how frequent and never ending disasters are and how it can come back to the civilian.

I'm so glad thry actuslly went over why being seperated, even when you trust eachother, never works, with as much humanity and realness, humans are social creatures and veing seperated from someone you try to love when you're constantly not there, is more painful that losing them to what you try to fight for

If this was still season 1 Amber, I would've been so happy that her and Mark aren't doing well, and said he dodged a bullet. But, since they fixed her character I honestly feel really bad for her, and them.

I can’t imagine any good reason to give Amber any more slander after this. She may have been annoying about the whole secret identity thing back in Season 1 but she has done nothing but be a very supportive girlfriend and really did try to make the relationship work. The way they handled the breakup was very mature and mutual. Even though they didn’t want to stop seeing each other, they both understand the consequences just by being involved could bring. Poor Amber got mixed up in all this and almost died to someone Mark doesn’t even know just because of who he is, and it’s no surprise that was the last straw.

What I hate most about the break up is that now they are going to push another boring and predictable romance between Mark and Eve. I prefer no romance, but if there's going to be one, I prefer ANY character with Mark than Eve.

In the comics Mark and Amber ended up breaking up when he first told her that he was Invincible, and they broke up amicably. It happening in the show later than it was was probably cus they Zazzy Beats a 2 season contract and wanted to make the most of it.

Honestly I hope more of the guardians start getting upgrade to their powers like Rex they really need to power up to be able to handle some of these threats without mark. I also think some of their problems also come from their lack of variety in their team.
