The sternocleidomastoid muscle (SCM) plays an important role in forward head posture and upper cross syndrome, which lead to headaches, neck pain, migraines, dizziness and many other symptoms such as shoulder blade pain, underarm pain, chest pain, radiating pain in the arms, etc..
In this video I show you how to do a propoer sternocleidomastoid strech and release the SCM. Next to this, you need to fix the causes by posture correction exercises, improving your posture when sitting at a desk all day long, get an ergonomic chair, improve the ergonomics at the desk, etc.
Bear in mind that a posture corrector will not resolve your bad posture: if you have head forward posture, only you can correct it... if you need help, I have different ways to assist you:
