Withholding information is a lie by omission.

The fact is, Jack Knew that the Seer would and Already Had withheld information. So by the Seer's & Jack's agreed upon definition, Lying was any False Statement given. The Seer never once Lied to Jack by that definition. Now if Jack had challenged the Seer at any point by saying that withholding pertinent information was a Lie of Omission, then everything would have ended before it had gotten to the end, and Jack probably would have gone on living a decentish life. Not as happy as he had gotten mayhaps, but decent.

He knew that the Seer would withhold information the moment it admitted it knew that Ally would die, and Jack signed up to help the Seer all the same, and yeah, very much didn't ask, because nothing that the Seer Did tell him was a lie, and he got a benefit every time. Hell the Seer even said that people might die.

You're right, but this is a deal with the devil story. A devil character finds someone who is willing to do small things, knowing that they will hurt others and help him, then in the end it all comes back to bite the main character in the ass. So yes, it's a lie by omission, but Jack new this and didn't care. He should have had a more horrible ending considering that he basically tortured a boy to become a murderer.

Holy SHIT what a good but bittersweet story! I don't care for bad endings but this was absolutely intense and unsettling. The ending is a damn shame but still amazing and the lead up to that had my heart racing with my butt on the edge of my seat. Holy fuck.

I knew the pizza guy was going to return. Knew cause of the way he kept looking at the house before he left. Just didn't except what he did in the end, i though something totally different was going to happen. A great story and another great narration by MrCreepypasta.

Spoiler Alert Ok, so the seer said to Jack at the beginning that Jack would thank him in the end. So, at the end when the seer said "Don't you have something to say to me Jack?" What if Jack just didn't say thank you? It wouldn't be coming around full circle if he didn't fulfill that prediction. Right? Eh, just a thought.
