The Sky Tonight [November 21-27, 2022] 

In this episode we highlight our coverage of the Artemis 1 launch and the new observations by JWST of, possibly, the most distant objects ever observed in our universe. We then look at something a little closer (444 light-years) now rising in the northeast.

The Museum of Arts & Sciences (MOAS) is the primary art, science and history museum in Central Florida. The area’s largest museum, MOAS is nationally accredited by the American Alliance of Museums and is a Smithsonian Institution Affiliate. The Helene B. Roberson Visible Storage Building exhibits thousands of objects from many donors which are owned by the Museum, while the Linda and Charles Williams Children’s Museum presents an interactive experience for children. The Lowell and Nancy Lohman Family Planetarium and the Cici and Hyatt Brown Museum of Art showcasing the largest collection of Florida-based art in the world round out the areas to explore inside the Museum of Arts & Sciences.
