What about Benson springs? From my understanding and readings, it was an extremely small spring right on property a few 100 yards from where the old power plant was. Green Springs was another one too. Just curious on Benson spring?
There's part of the original Dixie hwy in nort Miami ( arch creek ) right next to the railroad track my dad told he drove on it in the 1950s also the old natural bridge was part of it it collapsed in the 1970s
very cool video thank you for the history!! I was trying to find this location but now see it's non existence. what a shame, looked like it would've been such a great location with history now.
Old brick road runs along voluisa Ave just pass red john rd It's the old delamd to daytona ave Unless you lived in daytona then it was called daytona to deland Ave
I remember my Uncle talking about the significance of the Dixie Highway. How it ran from Michigan to Florida. He lived near a portion which is still in use in Vandalia Ohio.
im about 2 or 3 months late but id love for you to come back to talk about the upcoming eclipse apparently san antonio is gonna be the best place to see both eclipses
I remember as a little boy riding with my Daddy from the "Bimini section" the farm community of Flagler Co. to Hasting, Fla. on the old Dixie Hwy. It was in rough condition in the early 60's.
A rare and beautiful painting well deserving of your glow description. To imagine how far development has come in only 100 years is a bit unnerving. We sure do live in paradise here in Florida.
It was sad when all those big trucks working in the area destroyed a lot of it about 15 to twenty years ago! Really enjoyed this was so amazed to actually drive that , it is bumpy and I went very slow in a cutlass, not realizing it went all the way to Charlie T’s! Pretty amazing! I’m always thinking about the people who built things in history! The things they learned what they ate! What useful things they carried in their pockets! How did they wind up in the place they were! Working in underground utilities in st Augustine, one of the archeologists that usually has to be there was telling me the history of these uniformly cut pieces of round palm tree about 6 or 7 inches tall that they’ve found hundreds of over the years that were used to make roads and walkways!
Hi Seth! The Geminids are out favorite shower! 🥰 We caught a BIG ONE one on our dash cam last night!!! It was brighter in person than on video, but it's still impressive even with the distance look of the fish eye lense: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eKO1Vi3I_M0.html
Happy New Year! Ah yes, that was quite a catch on the dash cam last year! Great footage. Did you get a chance to watch for the Geminids again this year?
