Hey there, hope you enjoyed this one! The last of 3 small phones I bought from Facebook Marketplace, they were fun to look at - that's for sure. I am looking for another one to look at down the track, so if you find one - please do let me know! Let me know if you could use one of these for a week :) Anyways everyone, thanks for tuning in and I'll see you in the next one! @Smoorez?? It says that the video premieres at 11PM AEST and that there are five or so people waiting. I'm very confused at the moment! Sorry in advance if I'm missing something obvious. 🤨
I was having some high hopes for finding the pinched ringtones in the media archive… oh boy, what a disappointment. 😁 The Tri-Tone is literally the only iPhone sound added to this device. The rest are all the stock Android tones again, nothing else. Soyes must try harder next time… Thanks for the lovely video, as always. 👍
Hahaha, a Pole here, I didn't know Chinese phone manufacturers found our technology... dull... Well, that explains Poland's import figures, the Chinese simply want to grant us their non-dull tech and free us from the burden of dull electronics :) Excellent video, cheers!
Looking at this phone's decent performance, I can't help but remember buying a super cheap phone for 2000 roubles (that was back in 2013, if you want to convert it accurately to your currency). It was small, bigger than Soyes, but still small (3 or 3.5 inch screen), shitty 1.5 point multitouch (it only worked correctly if the Y coordinate of two points was different), and a dual core MTK processor. And it was FAST! It ran NFS:MW (2012), minecraft and all other 3d games with decent performance. And here is why it was fast, just like Soyes - small screen resolution. This is why I love small devices from that time. Small size gives good performance even if the SOC is crap.
These are GREAT burner phones. So small and cheap and they sound great and work anywhere! I buy them by the crate, pick up a stack of Tracfone cards from 7-11 and I can easily get a couple months worth or ransom demands out for just a few $. Not bad for "Dull Polish Tech" 😉
It's a shame it's not practical for use because this is probably the best built Welcome phone? Internally it's very well designed despite being compact and has a VERY good (considering the size) battery? Screen is very robust too.
I had an android radio, it only had a 2in screen. I had an app that put the standard android buttons at the bottom of the screen, it actually worked quite well.
You can probably put a bigger battery in it, in the same size, maybe 600-1100mah possibly, since it has only 2 contacts, maybe ask someone to solder it , and you're good to go. And since you are in Australia , it will be cheap too, for me, in europe, very pricey. :(
Fun fact: this would work without problems in Romania, as we still have even 2G networks. The reason is that when "digitalisation laws" for payments came, a lot of shops and institutes went for POS devices connecting via... GPRS data modems. Just for skits, I was able to navigate Google at a spectacular pace of 234 kbps using a touchscreen LG cookie fresh.
perfect workphone, you dont need to play around all the day on it and in emergency you can answer calls and chat/play and its small comfy in the pocket Vs this big bulkyphones like here 6:39 which burns your pockets like a meteor you need to carry around for many many hours or just go for the king kong mini 2 pro which is ip 67 protected has 2-3 days battery stays cool allday and is only 123 gramms lightweight in the pocket and plants vs zombies and 2d games are good to control even on such a small phone.
aww that's not fair... i was expecting a more shitty phone lol! this actually is not so bad, too tiny but a second phone or for some backup it's not bad. but i don't like how small it is, i'm used too much with the big screens of 6" so not for me sure.
14:50 like Tourette’s guy 😂 Responding to risky (dodgy or how to write it) applications: Actually even that phone dialer can be virus. For example, I had fake Samsung S5 and it had two “phone” system applications. One was “Samsung looking” and one was from system (I think it was from android 4). I ran virus test and “Samsung looking” phone dialer was virus/Trojan. So everything what is twice in system can be virus:)
Soyes came up with these back in 2018 I believe. They kept the same motherboard and the same os and is still making them in 2023. Explains why it's so bad but it was decent 5 years ago 🤣
Dude, I can't read unexpected text messages in 1 second. English is not my native tongue and pausing the video on the exact time is hard. Please keep them on screen longer.
