There are some movies about the christmas truce, but i haven't watched them so i can't say if they are good or not (i had the subject in history class a few years back). One is called "merry christmas" from 2005, it's a french movie. and i think there are at least two more, one from 2002 and one from 2015 (the newest one got the worst imdb rating with only 5,8 tho, the others 7,7 and 7,5. the imdb text of the 2015 movie also states something about some lovers which seems like the christmas truce itself isn't the focal of the movie. Also the guy is an american soldier, which i don't understand why. So i guess i would go for the 2005 or 2002 movie if you want to see a movie about it) hearing about it is kind of nice and really emotional imo. the soldiers had an awful time and where just like "it's christmas, let's not kill each other" - it's not totally clear how it started
