when i managed a series of local coffee shops for about 10 years you really see how much people will spend on coffee or smoothies per month. we had more than 20 regulars in every store that would come 3-5 times a day and spend more than $500 a month on just coffee. and the markup on coffee is insane or at least it used to be. we would make the drink for less than a dollar and sell it for more than $4 it was legal drug dealing at its best.
