I have a blue 2023, I love the bike but I have 2 caveats that I will see in the 1000km review... Did you notice any leaks or fluid marks on the bleed screw thread? And did you notice any internal moisture on the LCD after washing?
The music in this video is lit as hell. I got the 2022 model last year. I love it. Nobody needs more than 152hp. Im like 300lb and it just keeps pulling forever. The mid range torque is incredible! Cruising in 75mph in 6th and twist the throttle, and the bike just starts pulling like crazy. Kick it down to 2nd and you power wheelie at same speed. Its crazy
Its not remotely trying to compete with 200hp litre bikes. What a stupid comment to make. Its a super naked. Covering a gap in the market between the likes of mt09s z900s etc and the hyper nakeds like mt10s and superdukes. Its biggest selling point is its middleweight price but has an extra 30+hp compared to the likes of mt09s etc it also look great
I love mostly eveything about this bike. Just really disappointed that Suzuki did not include the same tft display the GT got considering all the complaints about visibility issues with the lcd in direct sunlight.
Its a great bike, I have the crg arrow bar ends, some small Denali lights, evotech tail tidy, lowered the pegs 1 inch. It needs a better shock but Suzuki hit it out if the park with this one.
I love mine i came from R1m and since i dont fuck around anymore i iust want to chill and ride i think my 2022 gsx is a fucking torque monster maybe is cuz the full m4 but she more than enough
Yeah. I hate the way it is blisteringly fast, incredibly stable, super comfortable, handles like a dream, looks brutal, sounds cool and was reasonably priced. My only real gripes are that I had to change the rear sprocket to a bigger one so I could actually use that power better and something about the handlebar angle makes my hands go numb.
Just order mine after riding one for a week. It’s absolutely a rocket, everything matches perfectly on this bike. It is so much fun to ride it that I have to admit that when I saw the title of your video I was ready to some trash talk 😎 ✌🏻
I am considering one myself and watched so many positive reviews. When I saw this video I clicked while 99% sure it will be a trick xD. I mean I have not seen a single video mentioning major issues with the bike then one video labels it as the worst Nice video though, and congrats on your bike

@@sidineyperondiIAM hi, mine is the blue also. Absolutely in love with the bike. About your issues, mine has at the moment 600klm and the only thing I’m not happy about is the quickshifter. It’s not smooth and when I push it and change from 4 to 5 sometimes it’s like it stutters, the bike doesn’t respond and it takes like a half of second to react. It happened a few times and today I left the bike on the dealer so they can see if it is something that needs some tuning or if it is indeed a problem with the quickshifter. No leaks and I haven’t washed her so can’t tell you about that:)
I have the GT and it is the exact same bike accept for the body work and bags. I have had exotic bikes like the Tuono V4(and too many others to list) and honestly, I like this better. It is super-fast, super fun and dirt simple. I can tell you that the maintenace on an Aprilia will make you cry and it will need it. Suzuki got it right, build a bunch of different models using the same platform.
Thanks for the comment, I'm cross shopping Tuono 660 and gsx (yes the gsx makes 50% more hp but are in similar price range), Tuono has cruise control, probably better brakes and headlights
At first glance I thought you were serious...this bike is fun and fine stock...but a great bike for those that want to hop it up a bit...flash the ECU..Dyno tune it or remap it..take out the factory restrictions! Remove the cat! Install a full header exhaust system..M-4...or Austin Racing works...put a less restricted high air flow air filter on it...always ways to make more power without getting into the engine too much... There are only a few naked bikes making 200 bhp..and you have to pay quite a bit for.. aprilia's and Ducatis
You'll have to go to Moore Mafia on RU-vid. Look up his Dyno tuning on this bike. Most are with full exhaust replacement then price it out for yourself. you can expect around $1500.00 for a quality full titanium exhaust. It's worth it to me..maybe not for everyone.
While I don't particularly like the looks your statement of "other competitors making over 200HP" liter bikes is a good bit off. CB1000R makes just shy of 130 and MT-10 from Yamaha 160HP. If you take R1 and CBR1000 etc. into account you're in different class and price bracket. So yeah, nothing wrong with Suzuki's 1000cc naked GSX-S.

@@minijpmotorcycles is the suspension that bad ? I’ve heard a few people saying the braking isn’t great but those were the only complaints other then the LCD screen
It is a killer bike, I am so happy I decided to get my 2023. It is plenty for the street and I love the look of it. It looks mean. I put bar end mirrors and tail tidy on mine and it changed the looks. I also put a wind screen on it which is nice, also 4 bolts and its off. I got my titanium arrow gp slip on yesterday and that woke up the sound. Cameras don't do the sound justice. I am almost due for my 600 mile oil change and then I can start to romp her a little more. I love this bike.
I was just about to “wtf, you are sooo wrong with the title. I love this bike. It is the one I have had for the longest of all my bikes”. And then I was surprised. Thanks for the video
If you think the gen 1 is good, you need to try the much improved gen 2. I've had a few of the 2018 and 2019 GSXS1000F and the naked... I've just come from a 2020 GSXR1000R and bought the GSXS1000 2023. No complaints lol enjoy
I buddy of mine owns one of these. I rode his bike and really liked it. I found it very comfortable and pretty fast. Too me, it ran quite strong for a naked 1000cc bike, handling well. I don't know why you are saying it's so bad. I guess you've got very little experience on motorcycles, especially after hitting just 100mph, thinking that was so extreme. Maybe, you should stick to doing reviews on smalerl motorcycles, like the Honda Grom or CT125 Honda. You're welcome.
I read so many comments and yet all the users of this model say how gorgeous it is and yet the one who made the video says it's a s..t engine:)) Another positive comment from me. It is a fabulous engine and looks exemplary after receiving this facelift. I recommend to everyone.
No talk about the terrible transmission RATIOS? It's the polar opposite of a street bike the way the ratios are set up. They are exactly the same as the 2005 GSX-R. Very tall 1st, very short 6th, and the rest of the gears sort of jammed together without much difference between. Figure killing it at a stoplight many times and getting bad economy while cruising.
@@exothermal.sprocket You're absolutely not right. The transmission and gearing are great, and there is a clear difference between gears, but same time the engine is very flexible and forgiving. Tons of torque but smooth, powerful but not overwhelming. Go ride it, test it, and don't believe what haters say!
@@kungfupro The transmission is great. Suzuki makes the best transmissions. Tough, precise, great feedback at the foot. The quickshifter is great. Works like a charm at most any RPM or speed. The ratios are crap. All jammed together, 1st gear way too tall. 6th gear runs the engine 1000 RPM too fast.
"all the other competitor bikes are making 200hp" are you high or something? Tell me which liter bike (naked class) is making 200hp, they all make around 150 hp. Only the suerbikes make around 180hp like bmw s1000rr, zx10r, gsxr 1000 which are all superbike class not super naked. (beside the kawasaki zh2)
@@minijpmotorcycles no hate lol but your info was wrong, comparing two different classes of bikes. The naked super bikes make all around 150 ho more or less. The faired super bikes make around 180-200 ho more or less. So power isn’t less on this bike specifically but all naked versions have less power than their faired counterparts
@@Italianborn A master cylinder helps. Better lines, better pads, also help. Too much money though. If you're not taking it to the track, they'll do just fine.
"Least powerful liter bike in the market" CB1000R left the chat. While I do appreciate the updates on the GSX-S in this remake, there's some glaring things that are unforgivable: Transmission ratios are terrible for the street, as good as the transmission function is. Instrument display went "negative" which is very hard to read in bright light. As trendy as LED headlights are, they throw a terrible pattern after dark. Throttlebodies got smaller, cams got more mild profiles, and engine lost about 10 hp. Why? Speak to the EPA about that. For less cost, the Z900 is 95% of this bike.
Question is why would u want a 200hp naked bike with no air protection its pointless u get blown alll around it , if i want a 200hp bike ill get a full fairing one that i can go fast and not worry about air blowing me
