Yes! 😄 Always fun to follow your tinker vlogs 👌 Here’s a possible idea for your exposed cables going from your control board to your sump / display: if you search Amazon for braided cable sheathing, (in the color of your choice) you can run your cables in a single snake that can branch off where you need each one to go from the main run. I had some left over from a 3D printer build and decided to try it. Now there’s a single snake of exposed cable running around my display to my equipment cabinet. It also makes it really to secure ALL cables inside either all by itself or with Velcro straps or zip ties. It’ll help your already clean display look even cleaner! Food for thought 😊
I hope BRS hires you as what they call their online talent. You have a natural presence and you are very comfortable on screen. Thomas is okay and he has been at it a long time so he knows the ropes, but the new lady looks so awkward, I am sure she knows what she is talking about but you are much better than both. Just don't move to Minneapolis, I went to school there and it kind of sucks.

Thanks! A biopellet reactor is a form of biological filtration. Basically what you do, is you add biopellets to a reactor. The biopellets are a carbon based food source for your beneficial bacteria. Then you turn the reactor on, and water makes the pellets tumble in the reactor. Over the course of a couple months, beneficial bacteria will find and colonize (live on) those biopellets, consuming them. Those same bacteria will help convert ammonia to nitrite and nitrite to nitrate. So for heavily stocked tanks that struggle with nitrates, a biopellet reactor can help increase the number of beneficial bacteria, which will help consume nitrates. But, you must use a biopellet reactor in combination with a protein skimmer. Because while that beneficial bacteria will consume nitrites and nitrates, they won't convert the nitrates back into nitrogen gas. They basically get so fat that a protein skimmer will be able to remove them, thus reducing your nitrates. Hope that helps!

I bought a skimz algae reactor for reducing my nitrates .but its not working .. the algae is not growing and its like melting away 😕 so Im looking for another solutions Thanks again for reply and keep up the videos .. I don't know what the future holds at this point. I still need to have a conversation with BRS to see what potential there is. They have a great RU-vid team, so I'm doubtful they will have space. But then again, they don't really make much beginner content so maybe I could fell that niche. We'll have to wait and see!
i plan on having a deepsink installed soon. i think having a garage or outdoor deepsink helps long-term for us reefers. lol. i don’t wanna hear my wife complaining about the smell. i also take my rinsed dirty water all the way across the street away from my house 😂

That was a serious deep cleaning of the sump and all the equipment. Amazing how fast it gets dirty but keeping the pumps & powerheads clean really makes the difference on efficiency. Good to see you labeled all of your wire management as well. 😁
