Yes! Took me forever to describe his voice to a friend because I was speechless. This is what I finally said.. "Have you heard these guys? I had goose bumps listening to the live version and those happy kind of joyful tears. His voice feels physical. A presence that had been broken and found hope and peace within sorrow"

I do feel like you should have listened to Pain and Misery, Rain, or That Bird without the video. Pain and Misery and Rain are VERY Motown, and you'd have a hard time believing that the band is whiter than white and from Australia.

I love music so much, I really enjoyed your reaction. I listen to a lot of Tedeschi Trucks on RU-vid, they are my favorite and The Teskey Brothers popped up on a list after one of the Tedeschi Trucks songs about a month ago and I think they're so great. They have some cute videos, but also lots of live versions of songs. You should listen to a live version of "Pain and Misery" or "Rain" which has a live version of the whole band at the 2019 ARIA awards or a version on something called Color, which is just the lead singer singing.
