Sarah, it's been an incredibly long road to get Mr.Dos to this point, girl be friggin PROUD of what you've accomplished this far! A standalone ECU management system you...yes YOU installed and now that little car is running fine! All I can say is congrats and let's hope it gets even better.

ATS did a gen 3 swap on my '91... with only a billet wheel on the ct20, and ecu master piggyback, they extracted 300whp! I heart them!

1:29, it’s Bruges in Belgium. I’ve been in that exact spot where the pic was snapped.

That screensaver was Bruges. Also nicknamed Venice-of-the-north which is silly because the sea has retreated over the last 800 years. You can always visit my parents who live there.

The city in the intro is Bruges Belgium about 1000 km north of Venice. Nice distance for a roadtrip . And it’s also called with a nickname the Venice of the north.

It is so cool seeing MR #2 back on the road.

Rule of thumb, MON figure is 10 points lower than the RON figure for a fuel. So rule of thumb US 91 PON is 96 RON. But it is a rule of thumb! So could be a bigger or smaller difference depending on the specific fuel. And thank you for highlighting the fuel octane figures.

Don't feel bad about the connector that was not making a connection. At least you knew where to look for a fault in the wiring, and you were correct. Kudos to you for that.

Bound to hit a few snags doing a big change up, a couple of connectors is nothing to feel bad about. Life happens. And working late and tired doesn’t help. All figured out into the next step!

Pleased that you engaged with ATS. They are my go-to source. The most annoying aspect of the new tune is that all cooling fans are on, all the time and they are LOUD. It is unclear why this is necessary. It would be nice to have a "stealth mode" for "normal" (non-hoon) operation. Sure, turn on the fans for trackday or a spirited driving session, but for evening cruising around town with windows down and t-tops removed it is a detraction. Conversations are difficult, the impressive exhaust note is masked by the roar of the fans.

Hi Sarah! I followed and watched most of your videos on Mr. Dos and truly enjoyed the full series. By watching this last test drive / street tune, I felt something was missing. At the end you tell us "the street tune is complete, the car runs good". However, we were never able to watch your happy face when you are test driving cars and when you "give it the beans". A final test drive, acceleration, braking, handling test for us to witness would have been great. I just can't help but feel as if someone turned off the TV while watching the final scene of a movie, and then standed up in front of me and narrated to me the ending. Hope you could make a full review and test drive of Mr. Dos "as is" at this moment. Really enjoy your content, your channel and your personality.

Bad connection can drive you nuts but you found it,great skills and knowledge of the electronics

Welcome, the MR2 is done! Well, except for what isn't done... Just ignore that part. This is how you know it's a real project.

You can lock the ignition timing (a special feature in most ECUs) to zero degrees. Then you start the car and check with a timing light so you are on or near TDC, then you can adjust the offset. BTW usually you can hook the timing light on the low voltage wires to the COP, not how its supposed to work but it does...

You're the only one I've seen literally rewire a car ..basically.. from scratch. That's fuh (beep!) ing awesome.

ATS is the GOAT! My stoker build was done in 2015 and is still running strong even when dealing with multiple issues with parts from other vendors.

Had an old Mazda RX3 in Phoenix a long time ago. The crack in the engine let coolant in and kept it running cool for a year or 2.

The thing about those Deutche connectors is you have to pass them on the left side…you probably passed them on the right side. When in doubt, remember to pass the Deutche pon’ the hand side.

Great to see the progress! One note which I may have mentioned when you installed your engine bay dual electric fans: the rotation of the fans is that right now it's sucking outside air into your engine bay. This is not too efficient as it is actually trapping the hot air from staying inside your engine bay. If you get fans that actually extract and pull hot air from your engine bay, I believe you will see a difference with the heat soak as the hot air will be able to be escape from your hot engine bay. Think of it as an oven door. If you are trying to push in hot ambient air, it has nowhere to go in there and mixes with the already hot engine bay air.

That front end looks cool...and I mean the MR2😉🤷‍♀️. Beautiful car, nice sound, excellent job😉😃🎊🧼

Personally I put a water/ methanol sprayer system on my rig to combat heat soaking. Evaporative Cooling works well!

If you add a 12 fl-oz bottle of anti-corrosion additive, and use "reverse osmosis" water with 30% Ethylene Glycol antifreeze, you may safely get better cooling, although it will begin to freeze at +7ºF, -13C. going to 35% will get you to 0ºF
