The dude said yes, that he knows that she steals everywhere she goes. And he knows the routine that they can just pay for it when they are caught. Whereas a non-theif would more likely assume that you get arrested if you were caught stealing.
It was the expression of, "maybe if I pull on this guy's heart strings, he'll cave." It should have been the expression of, "Oh shit, my life just changed forever because this is going on the internet."

This was the absolute hardest confrontation to watch. I can totally understand holding your resolve while confronting someone who's lying, or yelling, or screaming insults. But watching your keep the pressure on while she non verbally begs you to stop. Holy fuck this video is next level.
He should really know how to change his tone and language when the thieves have kids. Those poor kids already have it hard enough having those assholes as parents but to escalate a shoplifting situation to the point of yelling and cursing in front of the kids is a bit pretentious and selfish
This one has always broken my heart. Alcoholism is no joke and sometimes you do the dumbest thinks and those consequences are needed to get help. I hope she’s in a better place now.

I think it would be pretty traumatic for the child to have man yelling at her mum plus if she lies about why "the bad man" was yelling, that is extra trauma on top. I think the child was pretty unaware of her mother's stealing, she seemed pretty intent on playing with her toy.
@@delailama736 Naw, I'd have told her kids directly that what mommy did was wrong, and that stealing is bad and has consequences. If you have the AUDACITY to do something like this with kids - Expect there to be corrective consequences to your parenting if you get caught. Because those kids will likely still think what their parents did was okay.
I like when she gets confronted, she starts playing this child card.. and pretends to be motherof the year, but stealing in front of her child is ok...
