Good vlogs Raul I’ve become a fan. Lots of trucktubers on here, some are good but there are some right idiots too. I’d recommend you to new drivers all day long for a proper perspective on the job. Keep up the good work.

To be honest Raul I would love to ride with a lorry driver (maybe even you 🙂) because it looks very fun, I would very much enjoy it and it would be the best day or days of my life. I hope that it might happen one day.

Hi Roul, I've got two handy tips for you with your garmin sat nat. First one is down load the garmin smart phone link app and you can go on Google maps and share your location to ur sat nav👍This only works for samsung tho. Second tip is go into ur settings on sat nav and click map & vehicle, map & layers then tick map log. This will show a thin blue line on ur route and can help you get back from difficult routes when ur sat nav is saying go a different way. follow the blue line😁👌

Flaxby! The vegetable processing plant. Just before I quit hgv driving in 2018, I was a regular visitor there hauling onions in a curtainsider from Elvedon Estates in Suffolk. Lovely, friendly and very efficient people on that site, especially a particularly attractive Polish lady working in intake...... It was never a chore going there. I agree with all the other people who have commented that your videos are enjoyable and devoid of bullpoop. Such a shame that so many of my former colleagues don't share the same philosophical no nonsense attitude towards the job. I have no intention of returning to the job, but enjoy watching content like this. Cheers.

Good content especially for new drivers to watch BUT !!!! You first hooked onto a double decker which was probably 16 foot tall then at drop and swap went under a single decker box trailer which is probably around 13 foot. So in this case as you are driving a giga space actros you may well have a higher cab than the trailer, so the hieght meter needs to be changed to the hieght of the unit ie the highest part of the vehilce. The fines for not doing this are heavy but strike a railway or pedestrian bridge and DVSA find you have not adjusted you feet and inches hieght indicator could mean massive fines, points, loss of licence or even a custodial sentence. It would be good to add this to videos especially as young want to be drivers are going to be taking tips from you. All in all as a LGV1 driver of 31 years your videos are very good. You have a very wide range of experience and conduct yourself very well. So you are giving others your experience which will help new and older drivers come to terms with situations, loads or trailers they may not have experience of. 2 important points. I did not see the cab reflect any tug test to ensure unit full engauged with king pin. Also I did not see you change hieght indicator in the cab to reflect the the overall hieght of the vehicle, which is a legally requirement of the driver. Regards BasherMAN

I’m amazed.. all the emphasis that they put on teaching new drivers about overweight loads and how you have to check that your load is secure etc etc. How are you supposed to check if you can’t go in the back? What if your load shifts or something like that? It’s the drivers responsibility is it not? I’m so confused. What have I got myself into 🤣 my test is in august

Originally Flaxby was owned by Household Potatoes it is a produce plant but Morrison’s took them over and I drove for them out of there for 8 years until they decided that it was cheaper to get contractors in and gave all the drivers the option to either take redundancy or move to J41 at Wakefield,I went to J41 and lasted there for about 5 years as I was doing 84 miles round trip there and back to work which they thought was a reasonable distance to travel to work,biggest mistake I ever made in my life and all that time waisted unfortunately but you live and learn I suppose, anyway all the best to management at Morrisons !
