The requirements to get them all is a bit janky tho, you don't get any reinforcements inside the ship unless you're missing just a few Marines. If the whole squad goes down you're on yer own.
@@AzelfandQuilava I've had runs of that level where I've been cut down to two marines and not gotten reinforcements in the ship. Other times when I'm down to a single guy, they'll give me more. Its weird.
bruh how the hell do these guys have any patience with each other lmao, every time me and my friend attempted this we would all hate eachother by the end of the night
@@Chuked Doesn't waste all that much just idling, also consoles are generally reasonably energy efficient. PCs are where Wattages really start to get high, consoles tend to stick below 200W. The series X uses 153W and series S 74W, these are their official numbers for wattage in active gameplay at full throttle I assume. The Xbox One, 360, and OG Xbox all were substantially below 200W at full throttle. And while idling because they are paused, it drops the wattage down.
I look at 3:56 and think, hey they're farther along than where me and my friend were at. Next shot you guys are in the same room at 3 hours and 42 minutes. Oh.
Oh man, this was the hardest mission for my brother and I. Right before we went up on the ship after the lift fight, my brother meleed a marine and they all turned on us. As soon as we were on the ship, they kept spawn killing us. We were an hour and forty-five minutes in. We waited, hoping it would revert to another checkpoint, but never did. We had to restart. We were so mad, we had to stop playing for a couple of days. Took us about three hours more to finally finish this mission when we were finally ready to finish. A similar event happened on Silent Car., however that mission was short so it wasn't too bad. Rest of the campaign after TaR was pretty much a breeze.
Nice job. Took my buddy and I 15 hours to beat this level. By far the hardest part was once you enter the ship. That part alone took us 4 hours. It felt like groundhogs day in an endless loop over and over. In comparison we LASo all of halo 4 in one day.
I can't do it. I'll either die at the first part inside the ship, or, the one time i didn't die, i accidentally grabbed the invisibility shield early on and I couldn't get past the part after the hunters.
MaleStomper haven’t got there yet. I respect anyone who has completed it though. 1/2 way through Halo 3, Halo 2 is next. Don’t get much time for gaming in the summer. Typically wait till February to fly my friend up once a year so we can play in the same room. The lag is very difficult to contend with from Vancouver to Whitehorse. I don’t think it would be possible unless we where closer. Will be waiting till next visit to take that one on.
Who tf was the girl even meeting the fact she just entered a stranger's house and be so nonchalant about it and ask where to place her bag?... Lmao Dude should've kept her in for some Halo experience
I just pulled through with a friend in this level the other day, the first room in the ship was so frustrating that I legitimately thought we were screwed and was planning on giving up on LASO. Once we got through that, I felt a lot more confident from then on out.
221Prohunter nice, me and my friend are about to do this level some time this week. I know it will be difficult but we just came out of halo 2 laso so that’s helped with our confidence hahaha
221Prohunter the first room was possibly the easiest part of the entire thing. I gave up on my solo legendary run because of this level though. This was the last halo I needed to beat. I’m stuck on the part where you need to kill the 2 hunters (not the ones from when you first get on the ship) and I just can’t beat it because I don’t have a sniper lol
Ugh truth and rec is the freaking worst. Multiple frustrating sparse checkpoint spots. Still trying to do LASO on it with a friend, didn't even make it up to ship yet. Update: We did it! 4th attempt successful in 1 hr 45min which felt insane. Did a few tricks to skip some fights including the grenade jump in the hanger. Toughest mission I've ever done in Halo, LASO is the next step after solo legendary runs. I would never try solo LASO though lol
Does that work on coop? there is only one overshield which you both need for the double nade jump, i was wondering if one of us did it would the other one get teleported to catch up?
@@M64rside Exactly, only one person needs to go and the other will eventually be teleported. The good news is that after that grenade jump, no enemy spawns until you're at the top level and leaving the hanger area. This also works if you want to do a couple other skips in this mission. E.g. before the grav lift you can despawn enemies at the area before the grav lift w/ camo and going forward to the grav lift area, also using camo after the firefight when you first get on the ship to skip a lot of the initial ship section. I'd watch some laso guide videos for the above. All valid on co-op, as I did it a month ago.
This level was hell for me, but through *a lot* of patience in the last couple of weeks, I finally beat this level after playing it on & off for about a year and a half or so. Going onto The Library next, and idk how that'll go.
Finished this mission in two hours with my LASO partner a couple of days ago. I can't explain why but it was such an enjoyable experience. It felt so, so hard but also fair at the same time. We smashed it really, and I already have nostalgia about playing that mission on LASO. Good memory :)
Can't believe you guys tried this level three times, I barely passed this mission with Halo Completionist's crazy grenade jump and still nearly pulled my hairs out. All these videos are great!
That bit where you're trying to get into the ship and the part where you just enter the ship are nightmares. The former has what feels like an endless wave of enemies and the latter part has like five elites with swords and invincible shields(unless you plasma pistol them) that run at you.
My friend and I just completed the Halo CE Laso campaign today. I can feel the pain in every scream, and the joy in every laugh in this video. This content is making me laugh so hard because every moment is just so damn relatable. Amazing content guys I love it.
Dudeeee, I completed too, that was a nightmare. I will not repeat that again in my life, there was 8 hours long. But thats so satisficing. Were in Assault at the control room now hahaha and its mindblow too
We’re up to Gravemind on Halo 2 but only this on CE. What’s making us procrastinate is how you can’t pick up alien weapons. It sounds fucking impossible. Surely there’s very little ammo inside the ship?
Man 6hrs of my life trying to do this solo, got it done in the end, the missus frustrated at me for yelling all night, being stuck outside the ship for 2 hrs killed me, then when i finally got to keys im like yeah this should be easy, too bad for me no ammo low health n nades in the worst spots which stop me from throwing nades uhhhhh such a frustrating mission, ohwell onto silent cartographer thank F
Ahahaha man love your guys videos, you got me screaming CHECKPOINT, CHECKPOINT!!!! and celebrating with fists in the air like i just won a gold medal ahahahaha
@@DetroitOddballs well thank you for the confidence boost much appreciated, glad to know i did one of THE HARDEST LASO levels hopefully the rest comes easier, but knowing my luck will still be quite a challenge. Well ill keep ya updated with the rest of CE n then onto halo 2. Cheers man much love.
This is entertaining and i know its a year old, but your missing 20% of the difficultly (I'm assuming this isn't the LASO playlist) by not having the blind skull on.
