You probably dont care but does anyone know of a trick to log back into an instagram account? I stupidly forgot the password. I love any assistance you can give me.
Tartarus sucks, though. Even just setting up with the vehicle WITHOUT skulls, died so many times. Learned real quick you can die on the bottom platform JUST BY CROUCHING.
@@noblenormie1179 If you get the spectre in there, you can drop off the 3 johnsons then go back to the safe area where Johnson lies way in the back away from Brute nades, and the Johnson's can kill Tartarus while you AFK. I like to unload my weapons into tartarus from afar just to speed it up, takes like 5 minutes when I do it, it's faster and safer than Banshee since the brute reinforcements like to toss a lot of nades. Spectre is fairly easy to practice getting it in there, and once you figure it out it's consistent every time. If anyone makes it thru Cairo station and Gravemind, the Great Journey is a cakewalk compared to those missions. Tartarus is no problem, he's easier than Regret.
@@Playinghaloin2004 *get flashbacks from dying a lot on that room and losing about 1 hour only to finish it properly then comes on the internet and sees someone talking about using the despawn method on gravemind* I feel sadness, thank you.
@@DarkGladiator0 you clearly haven't tried halo 2 laso cause damn I mean I completed every halo game on laso and while I can't say the other games where a walk in the part, I can assure you halo ce's campaign was by far the one I died the least (I still died a shit ton) nothing compared to halo 2 or 3, and I can assure gravemind while being my favorite halo mission of all time it was a pain in the ass just the beginning but not only that, the fucking jail cell cause basically you can't do stealth, they know you're there every single fucking time, and then there's the long corridor with it's sections with the infamous jackal with sniper, I can assure you I think I died More on that mission alone than I did in half of the CE campaign , Cortana from halo 3 being the second most difficult one
6:33 I love how the moment Blow Me Away comes on, you both lose all fear and frustration and get pumped instead. Went from "This sucks!" to "Lets do this!"
Fun fact: *you actually spawn with zero shields in the beginning of Gravemind,* with your shield starting to recharge. If you can't believe me, start Gravemind with Black Eye and Envy on, camo as soon as you spawn in and take cover until you can see your HUD. It's like a sick joke. Seriously, what was Bungie thinking when they designed this intro?
It's probably a reference to CE were Cortana used the Halos teleportation grid, but it required using the shield. The cutscene before the level had the Gravemind teleporting you, likely using the same method Cortana did taking more power since High Charity wasn't on Delta Halo. Or it's just more evidence of how unfinished Halo 2 is
@@I3oo1ve That’s an interesting way to interpret it, I had never thought about that before. The arbiter does not seem to suffer the same shield depletion though
@@taewoosuh9323 Arbiter isn't get shoot at the the start of Uprising so you wouldn't notice it or Covenant shields just being better despite the armor being vaguely older
After taking like 2 hours to finish the first level. Then getting to the 2nd one I gave up when I got to the sniper jackel alley right after you kill the 2 hunters. You are a brave man respect
@@SpicySkeleton It's pretty easy once you know the enemy's patterns. Needless to say, you will die A LOT. But it is perfectly doable. Not LASO tho... Screw that
Finally got around to doing LASO after all these years. My friend and i have been doing one level a week and this was the level for the week. Took us right around 4 hours to beat.
Me and my friend did legendary coop back before MCC was patched back in 2017. The game always crashed and we would “unsync” on certain levels. Can’t imagine doing this LASO though haha props
I just finished halo 2 on Legendary, (not LASO though) and this part actually got me mad. I kept dying as soon as I spawned. I felt like everything else was trial and error but this specific part was genuinely so hard for me.
This is why i modified it to the point where charging in with whatever weapon you have is an option, definitely not encouraged but its an option and you caaaaaaaaan survive altough chances are slim unless you know what youre doing
Just beat Halo 2 solo on MCC Legendary today. My sanity was tested but you are on a whole new level of patient for beating Gravemind on LASO holy schmoly
This level was he’ll I’d spend 3 hours getting to the grav lift going down to the prison only to have it so I’m locked in perma death cycle so glad it’s done tho!!
I love your videos together on this. Imagine if you guys played for 6 hours and got to the end, and then it disconnected. That had got to be a thought on your mind sometime during these
1:58 *When you're trying to bob and weave through 30 NPCs hatefucking you with an infinite never ending wave of grenades for 6 hours straight so you can *FINALLY* fucking *save* Captain Price by praying to God you don't stub your big toe on the side of the ramp when you finally manage to make it there so you don't have to watch one russian boi with an AK47 destroy your hopes and dreams by shooting you in the back of the head when you're two literal steps away from walking onto the helicopter, saving Price & after 300 eons of rage and juST WANTING TO LEAVE THIS UNHOLY LAND SO I CAN STOP DEVELOPING NON EXISTENT ANGER ISSUES I NEVER EVEN HAD IN MY 20s, AND *finally* managing to make it to the helicopter & complete One Shot One Kill on Veteran difficulty. Somewhere in an alternate reality, that mission is the reason she left & took the kids.
One small thing is to blame for that, enemy awareness, theres a skull that instantly makes enemies aware of your presence even if they cant hear orsee you and that is why they open fire as soon as youre within their firing range which is about 13 to 15 world units respectively(or 30-40m irl)
Maybe y’all could redo all the games but actually with all skulls on. Because apparently “Legendary ALL Skulls On” playlist doesn’t include ALL the skulls in some games
By all skulls they refer to the scoring skulls, since generally those are the ones that were originally in the game. The scarab gun and infinite ammo werent skulls to begin with.
How in the actual fuck did you manage to get down into the prison. Every time me and my boy go down there we get insta murdered and die so quick it reverts us to last checkpoint
Halo 2 laso cause youre very limited, in doom once you upp your arsenal(ammo, armor, health) and master the core gameplay mechanics it becomes relatively easy, halo 2 laso doesnt give you such uppgrades making enemies kill you within a frame everytime
A pillar of cover won’t easily save you from being surrounded by enemies that have more health than you. Also, you only have a Needler and you start with only half shield.
Epic pro strat for the first bit on coop: turn on piñata and camp up top (hopefully not the side where the brutes end up spawning) and punch each other for grenades to throw down.
@@ajourneysjournal1346 you can see every time they die they lose 434 points per death. final score is -293392. Since they took so long the score they earned getting kills was reduced to 0 so it's just -293392/-434 which is approximately 676 deaths. 676 deaths over 6 hours is approximately 112 deaths per hour or about 2 deaths every minute with an average lifespan of approximately 30 seconds.
Hey Detroit oddballs I just completed this game on solo legendary and I don't think I would want to risk my sanity playing laso😂😂😂. I am surprised there were no broken controllers lol😂😂😂
Yeah this levels bullshit if only they put u behind a wall or something so u can’t be spawn killed this level is hard to do deathless but omg someone has done it crazy to believe but I want to be the next t pass it on legendary deathless gonna take me a long time
My only regret with this is that when you're done with the Halo 2 stuff, I'll have to stop watching because I've never played Halo 3 or onward, so I'd have to wait for the PC release.
As someone with zero experience with any Halo game aside from 3 prior to the collection it's astounding how 343 managed to fuck things up. The sound mixing in 2 in particular in the MCC is so awful that you can't even hear when your shield has been depleted and of course this LASO challenge seems just like Brutal mode in the Uncharted remasters in that it obviously weren't playtested at all, not to mention in multiplayer you respawn in the path of the enemy so often that it's a joke.
This level is absolute bullshit and is enough to make you reconsider Halo 2 LASO. The start is bad, but the prison lift on the way down is what makes you want to stalk Bungie and 343 in a long string of horrific murders with only "Gravemind" written in blood on their fucking walls. The enemies see you before you even get to the bottom and one of the grunts generally has a needler. If he doesn't needle one of you to death, you'll get stuck by a grenade by one of the brutes. It's virtually impossible to get past without the prison skip and there are no alternatives to either using the skip or dying on the way down. Like the IWHBYD skull in Halo 2, it's pure luck whether you fucking get it or not. Unlike the skull, it's a royal pain in the ass and you're probably not going to get it. Halo 2 LASO can fuck itself, I'm never redoing it. At least Tartarus finally fucking died without the vehicle glitch. It didn't take as long as I expected when I waited for Johnson to shoot his shields down (three direct shots) and just carbine'd Tartarus in the face while his shields were down.
