I’ve just prayed to Jesus for the 1st time ever of my life just a few moments ago. Hope things will work out. I’m not a Christian but I want to trust and find the Truth

I have been a believer many years and I want to encourage you in this...You won't always feel the presence of God close to you, I can tell you from experience, it is often in times of deepest affliction that we feel the love of God most keenly. I like the way Arthur Pink puts it: "Instead of a river, God often gives us a brook, which may be running today and dried up tomorrow. Why? To teach us not to rest in our blessings, but in the blesser himself." And it won't hurt my feelings if you don't reply to my messages. I would rather have you continuing your RU-vid (as long as you are able to put God and family first), then getting burned out trying to respond to people like me...it's not about me, it's about the gospel. I needed to hear this! It’s been hard for me to get back into prayer, and I could feel myself pushing away. But finally I cried out to GOD and prayed. Once I let everything out, I opened my bible and GOD literally answered me and my cries. He is good!! Glory and praise to the most high ❤️
Wow thank you for this I remember a few days ago I went into my sisters room a place were during quarantine I would pray EVERYDAY and I stopped for some reason and I went in like two days ago and say “wow God i haven’t prayed in here in ages and I don’t feel like praying sometimes” and it’s so crazy that I don’t feel like praying sometimes and like you said there is like a root for me it was me not getting up early which I did everyday and now it’s my phone when I wake up and it’s a BIG distraction i want to have my bible on my bed before I sleep so when I wake up I can pray a psalm and get deep into prayer. Thanks for that word! It was refreshing to receive as I am going through similar things in my walk. I know he’s always there but sometimes I feel alone and sometimes neglected. Other times so full of sinful and there’s no hope for me to change. It’s warfare! But we can come boldly the throne of grace. He is with us, even tho we have to go rounds with the devil, after it we receive new depths in our intimate relationship with God. You are enough my God! 😣
I go through the same thing, sometimes I just listen to gospel or read psalms. I use to feel guilty about not keeping the hour of prayers or praying for a minimum 1 hour but the spirit told me it's not about works. I keep my eye on Jesus and the finished work of the cross. When you don't feel like praying, just muster the strength and say Thank You Lord, Lord I Praise Your Holy Name. Even when You fall into habitual sin, Just Praise the Lord that you are weak and He is strong. When You Practice Praising God in Everything you are Saying to Him.... I was nervous because i went through a time that logic and feelings were not helping. But remember logic is good when you use it as a tool not when logic uses you. Also feelings should not control us. Faith and Love is our relationship with God, feelings come along later. May God bless you all! This is so important. I feel this at times and believe it’s just my flesh but it’s the enemy attacking me because God is going to use me to give glory back to him. The most important part and best thing to do is to recognize that you don’t want to seek God. Which truly means you love him because you recognize you need him every single day.

Awesome video!! Believe me... I relate. That’s why I always have to look at it as giving God what He deserves, not what I feel like giving Him. As Christians, we are in relationship with Christ... so for instance... if someone has a boyfriend and you know he likes golfing, but you like getting your nails done... you don’t get your boyfriend a gift certificate to get his nails done because YOU like it... you give him golf balls bc he likes that. It can be a struggle so I feel y’all... FOR SURE. I just think “the creator of the Heavens and the earth KNOWS ME... BY NAME!!!
