now I might just be getting old because I no played the original be when it released. in the original. version dugalle did not have that heavy of an accent. or am I tripping
I always chalked it up to Duran being on his own and in-charge for so long that he didn’t have much of a rank structure to abide by. Guerilla warfare and all that.
1:30 I remember Grant being confused as to why the admiral referred to Duran as a "turncoat", since he 'didn't actually betray anyone yet', but that's simply not the case. He's being referred to as a turncoat, because when he was first met, he said that he and his forces were part of the *confederate* resistance forces - so he betrayed the confederacy to join the UED.
I'm of the opinion that Dugalle considers all the Koprulu Terrans to be lumped together. This "Duran" fellow and his men are from Koprulu. Therefore, by joining the UED, he has betrayed his people; the people of the Koprulu sector. The fact that Duran claims to have already been fighting the Dominion is irrelevant.
One of my favorite levels, UED just went ahead to destroy a Dominion fleet with a stolen Dominion fleet, UED are such chads. I said this before, but it is so criminal that they were not a major part in SC2.
@finagle007 Very. Seeing how they left Alarak as the new villan, then they should, but like you said, Blizzard is currently in decline, but I have faith they will one day get back to their old roots.
@@KingLich451 I rewatched the whole video and yeah, the only units the Yellow player has in total were 5 marines and 3 medics during the mission which totally makes the entire game idling after the 2nd platform. Either the map creator forgot that the total battlecruisers can be split to 6 per player (since they total up to 18, so in paper each player should have 6 pilots ingame) or they couldn't find a way to split the given units to each player -- like they could've given each player both attacking units, a medic, and a pilot
Meanwhile, on StarCraft Alternate… After the CPZ take in Raszagal and her Brood as their Assimilators (Queens) have started sifting through the Infinity Swarm's hive mind, their next mission involves hijacking the Behemoths in Dylar IV. The two Pack Leaders are joined by a third in this mission. And they handle it well enough to acquire every single Behemoth in the region by the time Zasz's Brood arrives, and repel the "Overmind's chosen" with ease.
Zasz’s exchange with Dehaka over the former being the Overmind’s chosen is infinitely better than Duke’s exchange with Stukov NGF-ing about them coming from Earth.
Duke: "Emperor Mengsk- Pardon the interruption- We have a terrible situation-" Mengsk: "ENOUGH!! SHUT IT- JUS- STOP!! Not. A. Word! Let me guess oh 'General Duke'; this 'Magistrate' was behind your inconsistent, fumbled failure again, isn't i- *[Pauses In Realization]* Wait- Don't tell me.. It has to do with something from Earth..." Duke: *[Gasps]* "You knew too?! So it WAS the Magistrate behind it all al-" Mengsk: *[Blinded With Rage, He Turns The Radio Off On Him Again]* "I swear, if I get humiliated in the end by one of my menacing nemesis's again..."
Only a single pilot is needed to control a Battlecruiser? I thought its crew size are thousands of personnel. There should have been some of Mengsk's boys inside those ships at that time.
1:43 "He just tipped us to a preeminent attack!" Does this imply that they expected the Dominion to do nothing while they attack one of their most important installations?
Remember that the exiled Terrans were a bunch of criminals. They didn't expect them to be good at fighting back. It also explains why the UED fleet is so small compared to the Koprulu sector.
