I love how young Ryan is in the first home alone movie pitch and it just feels like maybe he’s a young producer and this is the first movie he’s had to listen to And then when you watch more recent pitches, he’s more “experienced” and older looking and you just imagine this producer has seen a lot. Love it!

It can be assumed that the Santa that dies in the first TheSanta Claus, that he was still on his first year which would explain why Mrs. Claus wasn't a thing. This of course is not taking into account that the writers just didn't think that far ahead. At the very least, the elves didn't seem to care probably because the guy wasn't very fun to be around

If in not mistaken, I believe in the original script for "The Santa ClausE", Tim Allen's character Scott Calvin actually did shoot Santa Claus off of his roof with a gun but then I believe that Disney did the exact same thing n told Tim Allen they would never have somebody shoot Santa Claus so Disney representatives, Tim Allen ABC's the script writers had to get together to fix theproblem n still have everybody happy in the end.
