The issue comes moreso from how white actors pulling off accents often get roles over minorities who don’t need to. It’s bias.

@@twindrill2852 and you actually just proved my point with this statement right here, I want the better voice actor regardless of what skin color they have. The whole idea of this is stupid and it's a big reason why Hollywood is falling apart even as we speak because producers and directors are more concerned about meeting a checklist of quotas the hiring the best voice actor and whether or not they are the same pigment as their character rather than if they do the part well or not.
