I did read up after making my initial comment and I did see while technically you could feed a dog a plant based diet it would need to be heavily researched and put together by a canine nutritionist. They are not herbivores they are omnivores. They also say that a diet without any animal fats and proteins will be dangerous if not monitored. I am willing to have a conversation but posting a graphic documentary is completely unnecessary. I care so deeply about animals so if you want to be negative that is your prerogative.

No. Just because one dog lived a long healthy life on a vegan diet, doesn’t mean every dog should be on a vegan diet. Even the blogs you posted said dogs may be healthier on a vegan diet and some are not. A dog’s food should be thoroughly researched and discussed with a trusted vet. Animal cruelty is an issue and so is the environment. But veganism is not the solution. The entire population is not going to switch over to a vegan diet due to their own dietary needs and health issues. Also culture and religion plays into diets as well. It’s all about intake. Don’t eat more meat than is needed to sustain your body.

Dogs can safely be vegan & healthy, they’re naturally omnivores. You can’t just feed them rice with veggies and stuff like that - they still need proper dog foods. It’s cats that are naturally carnivorous, they need meat to survive and thrive.

Vegan dogs will struggle to digest high fibre plant based food and it’s easy for them to be deficient of certain vitamins. So in theory yes, a dog could be vegan (where cats absolutely shouldn’t be), but unless you know a lot about nutrition and the biology of the dogs digestive tract, you’re likely to end up with a dog with some deficiencies.

While a dog can survive on a vegan diet, it cannot consent to it. And since they're built omnivores - the best balanced diet for them includes meat.

I have really bad anxiety to the point where I was having panic attacks everytime I went to school and when I went home, I would just hide in my room and I was very lethargic. Depression is a very difficult thing to deal with, I was failing all of my classes, I wouldn't do work, it was bad. I'm so much better now, I have therapy and I am on a medication that definitely helps me. I personally think we are a strong generation to deal with this world's bullshit. I am actually excited about where these people in our generation will be in a few years. We are well on our way to changing the US, if not the whole world. But I that's just what I think, you can have whatever opinion you want, just please be aware of mental illness and how you treat it. (Ignore my illogical rambling, there's a message somewhere in there lol. Also, yeah, the whole point is for every generation to have it better than the last.)
