The thing I can’t stand the most is that she’s forcing her dog into a plant-based diet. Which is *technically* possible, but it is extremely difficult to create vegan dog food, since their bodies have a harder time processing plant matter, and won’t be getting necessary amounts of fat and protein. So, it’s actually pretty dangerous to feed your dog a strictly vegan diet unless an animal nutritionist is keeping a careful eye on the effects it’s having and adjusting accordingly. Dogs can be allergic to meat and have to be vegan, and that is the only situation I think such a thing should be attempted. So, for a woman that preaches about animal treatment and cruelty, she may be giving her own dog malnutrition and severe health issues. Meat is in their nature, don’t strip them of that for the sake of your beliefs. If it means that much to you, I’m sure there are dogs out there that are allergic to meat that need a home. May be hard to find, but they gotta be out there somewhere.
