To be fair, a shapeshifter who can take on the shape of a stair climber would probably be made of hardy enough stuff to survive pretty much anything short of getting shredded or burnt to a crisp.
I was just saying he was dumb for even letting that cross his mind. You're brave if you dont know what Brocks capable of and you take him on, but you're stupid if you know of his existences and still decide to do anything involving Brock. I thought he was gonna die as soon as Brock realized he wasnt helper.
If Dr Manatee can come back because of starfish dna...which...has nothing to do with aquatic mammals OR cuttlefish... I'm sure presto can come back. Something about how his vital organs can shapeshift too
@@BeavisSavesI'm more worried that Presto and Dot getting tortured by the OSI since apparently according to Dr. Ms. the Monarch that's the official policy with captured Guild personal.
@@baz5042 Presto was in a strange shape when he changed so depending on how his insides functions then he could be okay. Reed Richards' just stretch to assume his shape while Mystique's are all a semi-mass. If Presto like her then he's probably okay, as long as the OSI don't torture him too badly.
Gotta love Presto, guy is creative with his tactics. Turning into Helper when Brock is around, using his abilities to help get everything together, having the balls to get close to Brock. Oh, and the Stairmaster gag. Beautiful.
I was shocked to see Mark Hamill in not one but two roles in one episodes. Yeah, he does the voice of the illuminati guy. I'm actually surprised he wasn't in Venture bros sooner.
@@harryc1971 I heard that was originally intended, but it didn't happen. would have worked perfectly with Kevin Conroy voicing Captain Sunshine (Conroy, if you're not aware, voiced Batman in BtAS)
I'll remind you, Hamill once told everyone that before he even started doing acting, he used to work at Jack in the box practicing his Joker voice on people until he got fired.
Gilberto Tabares Kinda hard to deal damage to vital organs when the shifter in question probably has his entire body made uniformly of the same make up. By all accounts, shapeshifters worth their salt should be borderline invincible as a required side effect.
I remember in Adventure Time, Jake got bitten by a vampire and had all his blood drained. It appeared he had died, but he had actually moved all his vital organs into his thumb.
I remember when I watched this first episode with friends when it was coming out, and there was recent news that Mark Hamill would voice a character. So through the season, we kept our ears open for every new character to see who's Hamill. The instant this guy spoke, we all said "There he is!"
Most superheroes and villains in the Venture Bros are screw up or the like or are victims of comic book superpowers colliding with real world logic. But this dude legit has a cool power. He'd have been right at home in a silver age comic book! This dude is basically silver age Joker with superpowers
they successfully stole the teleporter, and presto didn't die, just horribly injured. a teleporter worth potentially trillions of dollars was stolen directly because of his bravery, cunning, and evil intent. if he did live, he's setup for life.
Yeah to but to be fair he seemed pretty pissed already especially since ram burgler knocked him out a couple of minutes, now he's dealing with a shapeshifting clown who decided to turn into a step master to slow him down, but then again though brock didn't hesitate to pull out his knife when he realize presto wasn't helper
@@voncornhole Looking back I was wrong. It was Cotton Hill and Joker. The voice just felt too similar to Buck's. Now looking forward, I can see them working together if Cotton kept Joker under control. They'd be perfect for running the town their way.
Not exactly the Joker voice, a bit higher pitched then normal. But yeah, he's playing a character with a similar voice and clearly having clowny characteristics.
The big difference is that it's far more clown and much less menace, so it's a fun without having to go into a sinister place. As the Scorpio Killer said, it can be very draining to do those types of roles too often.
Brock-"good for you toy man now you're going to get dead!" I like it better when Brock was a reserved psychopath he wouldn't have said a word just make a snarl and tear off his head.
Brock's always struggled with his constantly repressed animal like instincts and emotions, such as his furious hair trigger temper and his animal like libido
Bring back Presto :D best combo ever, part plastic man, and part joker and somewhere around... Well I cant put my finger on it, but that is a good combo !!!
His ability is to change his shape into an object at well, while he is that form he can not morph continually (as you are assuming.) Its a focus thing, he has to focus on that form to stay that form. Changing his form on will with the command "Presto Chango" may mean that he may have had to train really hard to maintain his form continuously.... otherwise he may continually alter his form without any control at all to what he would be changing into... meaning it could be a very painful and confusing experience.
You know Presto might seem annoying but this dude is shockingly competent. He did amazing in all 5 tasks he was given, and did them quick af too. Shame he’s probably dead?
Perfect, Impossible Man dressed as Mr. Mxyzptlk (however the fuck you spell it) with The Joker's voice. Something so hilarious about the death rattle he makes after being stabbed in the head too.
His voice reminded me of 70s and 80s cartoon characters with a pinch of Jeremy from The Yellow Submarine. Love this character and love that he's voiced by Mark Hamill!
Yes!! Nowhere Man! That's exactly who he reminds me of! I couldn't put my finger on what exactly this guy made me think of, asides the obvious homage to 'wacky trickster shapeshifting Silver Age villain' tropes. But Jeremy is spot on. Splendid observation!
@@avosmash2121 I remember when it hit me, it was right in this speech. Made me feel all warm and fuzzy...about a robbery being planned by Guild operatives.
the way he gets stabbed in the face at the end reminds of Sr. Pelo for some reason, just the way its animated and the scream he does gives me that feel
Presto Change-O demonstrates that he does have some cunning, but on the spot planning, not so much. Once inside the lab, he could have changed into something a lot less conspicuous until Samson was out of the way or incapacitate him, but instead opted for something too familiar like H.E.L.P.eR, and that roused suspicion. And the stair master? Ten out of ten for style, minus several million for good thinking; he only served to make Samson angry, not really slowing him down. His need for flair and humour was his downfall.
He literally could have turned himself into a slingshot to launch Brock away. Instead he instantly goes for a stair climber, because the safest place from Brock is under his feet in knife range
@@KittSpiken Maybe not Hank. The point is, the stair climber trick would have worked for someone who isn't around Brock Samson or at least someone who isn't a badass.
