I wonder if we can make this channel totally blow up with views/likes. It’s already on track. I will keep watching and commenting. This is video #6 for me
Great video Ollie. I’ve done a little bit of testing myself on this. What I found is that a longer inner barrel does produce higher velocity as it accelerates for a longer distance before leaving the barrel. However, the reason you didn’t see quite the jump you were expecting is down to the nozzle valve closing and cutting off the gas to the barrel before the BB has reached the end of the barrel. I believe most of the expansion of the gas is when it transfers from the magazine to the nozzle. Not when it’s travelling down the barrel. If you combine a longer barrel with an adjustable NPAS, you have the scope for even higher velocities as you can make even better use of the gas going down the barrel, and give the BB more time to accelerate.
Have you thought of cryonics? $28k with Cryonics Institute, full body preservation, your life insurance will cover it if you have a policy. Recent vitrification techniques and technology allow for your body to be preserved in a very well maintained way. Maybe, if we're both lucky, we'll wake up in the future. Best of luck to you mate regardless.
Great vid as always, but does not bore width also have an efect on fps? I.e tight bore equals higher over fps over wide bore? This would explain the lack of considerable oncrease with the mws inner as its a wode bore , 6.08 i believe.
Aaah another video not showing the AKX. You're teading us now Ollie. 😂 I'm only joking love the content i just got mine so i'm curious to hear what you think.
@@OllieTalksAirsoft Lovely. I took it out past weekend and I'm thoroughly hooked. It was a CQB game so no need for the MHN. Gonna install that this weekend and then take it out for a Woodland game. Also are you gonna test the bactav heavy bolt and recoil spring on any of your Ak's? Would love to see a review.
Idk about GBBs too much, but in AEG terms, this is a barrel volume ratio issue. Longer barrel may cause undervoluming, and cause a suction effect, effectively reducing fps output. Please also refer to the correct bb weight for each ratio. There is always an optimal bb weight for each ratio, and also can be calculated.
Fantastic video as always Ollie. I do have a question though. That pistol sounds and looks like it feels great! If you wouldn't mind sharing what internal parts have you put in it to make it do that? Thanks bud
Great video. I just purchased a TM MWS and was wondering what are the essential replacement parts I may need if it breaks down on me and what brands I should avoid/Choose?
Great video as always m8. Do you happen to know any out door ranges that allow RIF’s? Don’t have the space to properly test out my collection so constantly having to trouble shoot on game days.
I really want a macarov, such a cool pistol. its amazing the difference the inner barrel can make, but I bet if they did one that was 20cm long you wouldn't see as bigger jump in FPS output
I have so many questions about airsoft, wether it’s customising, the Caliber sizes, how to know what makes are good and what they fit, replacing parts, maintenance, diagnostic issues, metal kits for the Japanese made guns and so on. Is there any video series that would give me a break down? Maybe in the vain of “ Airsoft for dummies”. Then buying second hand stuff, like I’m really wanting a Tanaka .38 snub nose revolver. But no place currently has any in stock. Some have said try the second hand market but I don’t know what sites are good? And I love your GBB Desert Eagle, but I haven’t seen any where in the U.K. that sells C02 mags, and then a lot of people said it won’t handle the pressure unless you change the internals? I do apologise as this is all newish to me and there is hell of a lot going on in this hobby!
I've actually done videos on a few of those subjects. I've got a few playlists you should check out too as I did some new player and second hand buying tips videos a little while ago. Thanks for your support and I hope my videos help you out with your new Airsoft career!! It's the best sport/hobby ever!
its a guarder complete lower with a Ready Fighter LoKi Tactical Neo Slide in Grey. often these kits come in limited runs so if you see one you like you have to go for it as you never know when you'll see one again
Accuracy is more down to bore quality, bb quality, a clean barrel and consistent fps. Doesn't matter about any of those or the length of your barrel. If your guns fps isn't consistent, it'll never really be "accurate".
after watching many of your videos, I took the plunge from AEG to GBBR and bought a MWS, last weekend was my first game day with it. First game i had a BB jam and smash to bits near the barrel. then the second game i had a BB shatter inside the tigger box and i was not able to play with the gun anymore, i couldnt even move the selector to safety. what gas do you use? also what bbs?
yeah @Sylcatam is right, make sure you're using the best BBs you can, i.e Geoffs if you can get hold of them and yes I just use green gas. if the problem persists then let me know
Ok thanks will do, i am just using the 0.28 bbs that the shop supplied, luckily they are willing to look at it for free because its still under warranty but i am just very unfortunate that it happened on my first games
