I love your updates and find your sponsor ads very informative. I know what some of my options are and who to go to. I'm very excited about the Costco. It'll only be about 10 minutes by car from my home in the Villages. That's about the same as I am from Costco at our Virginia home. I tend to go there a few times a week.
@15:35, so cute to hear the puppies yelping their little baby-barks in the background! Thanks for another great video Don! I don't mind missing all the fancy add-ons you build in to your editing - happy to get the info!
Middleton is a very key part of The Villages growth and is deserving of continued coverage and updates. Having a significant GCA commercial district so close to a new town square will serve everyone well in the future.
There will probably be gas for the golf carts at the GC store in Eastport, and a gas station/convience store is planned for Middleton. There aer many more details and secrets of what is going in that hasn't been disclosed yet that I continue to look for and will share them with everone as soon as I find them.
Thank you for all the videos and information you share! I do have a question for you. I have heard rumor that there is to be an "affordable apartment complex" geared towards Village employees being built in the Middleton area. Can you address this? Thanks again!
I'm curious- why would anyone be interested in kayaking in a narrow, one mile long body of water? What else is there besides up and back, up and back? Thank you for yet another incredibly informative video!
For many that my be enough. It will be interesting to know what the future home owners think of the kayaks paddleing behind thier homes in the future. We'll see how it all works out in the near future. I will be easier than paddling through the weeds in Lake Okahumpka.
can you give us some facts on the number of executive courses per home north of 44 versus south of 44, thanks and i love your videos. it would be nice if we could see and overhead view of the entire villages so we can see exactly where these new villages are located
We both had a laugh at your rock wall climbing comments for our demographic. We were talking only yesterday about the kayaks at Lake Okahumpka. We've never seen a single person kayaking in Lake Okahumpka, and understandably so! 😆
I believe you may be correct, I just checked the plans again and they reflect the OBS being the second building and the first being a mult-tenant building. Thanks for catching that, I'll verify and put out an update in the next video.
@@Jetfumes Based on its location it will absolutely be Golf Cart Accessible. I wouldn’t venture there in a GC the first few weeks, based on the overall response to Costco coming to TV finally, it’s going to be a mad house with lots of crazy people excited to get there. Better a fender bender in the car than being a grease spot in a GC.
They'l be back, I was very busy all last week with a litter of puppies and had to find ways to cut down on the editing time in order to get this out a little quicker, eliminating the maps and other graphis cut about 3 days of work out of the editing process. They will be back.
I don’t believe where you said the hotel is going will be the hotel. I think it’s another downtown building. The hotels will be to the right on the corner.
everyhing has to be done and it all can't wait for the last week to be accompolished. Corbin is only one part of the puzzel, McNeil stil has a long way to go before it is ready to be opened.
@@GoldWingnut Thank you for quick response. Coincidentally, you also answered my question on your live update replay video. Thank you for such valuable information
It is being discussed, it is a MAJOR commitment by all parties involved. It has it's challanges because of the high concentration of medicare usage making for a difficult finacial market.
@@GoldWingnut I fault The Villages for poor planning. It’s a disgrace. The first and most important aspect of senior living is your healthcare. When we came down on a life style two years ago , we were told it was being built. Obviously that was a lie. The high insurance and lack of proper healthcare services has kept us away among others. I don’t think Costco should be celebrated. What happens if another disaster strikes this country and there’s no decent hospital close by? God help you all.
@nf2885. Then don’t come!! There’s a huge shortage of doctors nationwide and it’s expected to get worse. And all the supporting staff is a huge problem also. There is no control over making it any different here, but the increased population definitely makes it worse here. So stay where you are and keep complaining there.
