I’m an alcoholic in recovery for over 30 years. This song DESTROYS me, every single time. "I surrender in my defeat." Kudos to Dany and Ale for their immaculate and tasteful support while Pau gives a crushing performance at just 15. Beyond beautiful.
Addiction. Pau read about it and imagined what it would be like to be the addict. @13 years old. Her understanding of the human condition is unparalleled.
I am fairly new fan to The Warning, but it only took a few songs and I'm just in awe of these lovely ladies. Last month I got my package for my three Warning albums (I'm still waiting for their newest...), and I started listening from their first studio album "XXI Century Blood", and when this song came along, I just broke down in the middle of the street... at that time I was already huge Pau fan, but this song felt to me like a punch to my gut and soul. This song is about addiction, and I know about that quite well, I am a recovering alcoholic (8 years and counting...). If there is a way or chance, for Pau doing a solo album with just a piano and her singing, I am ALL for it one thousand percent!!! SO, Thank you for this reaction my good sir !!! ⚡Viva la WARNING⚡ NWSU/FloorFan/Epican/Ayreonaut/TWA 🤘😎🤘.
@@solarvanlife8177 I Will look for it, but "Platforms" are not my thing, I'm physical media kind of guy (old school, you know..)! I like to own my media, not rent it😉.
Probably the best lyric that Paulina has written, in my opinion, due to the difficulty of the topic and how important it is for those who have suffered it directly or through a family member or close friend.
The black hole of addiction. It’s sucks in and crushes everything around it. Not just the addict but everyone they love. The scene is set in the opening. In an ally surrounded by trash & broken bottles (perhaps with their last fix in hand) a phone is ringing from a desperate loved one calling but the subject throws the phone away because they know (feel) they are just destroying them as well. They “keep coming back begging for more” but just end up burning them again. Breaking their trust, maybe stealing from them to get their next fix. & the line at the end “even black holes they let me be”. The persons so toxic they feel. And all this from a 13yo who likes to read.
Thanks Rick for this one. Simply one of the most beautiful, heartfelt, sad songs every written and it was written by a 13 year old...these girls are incredible, there is no ceiling on the talents they possess. This is a fabulous show, all of it, from these young Ladies. "Show me the Light" is another stunning ballad from the Ladies as well. Cheers, stay well. See you in the next one.
This is a hard song for me to listen to because it hits a little too close, but it’s a great song and it’s amazing how Pau at 13 could empathize with people that deal with addiction every day.
@@B-Drags-Den Creep is a challenge cover Pau did for her Instagram channel. Choice of 4 songs to the IG group voting and Creep won. The challenge...learn the song and record it the same day. She did it in less than 4 hours. The feeling she puts into it is amazing. Another performance by Pau that brings me to tears.
Los temas de The Warning son tan buenos como obras maestras, como los grandes temas del pasado compuestos por los grandes maestros del rock ,los temas de TW entre mas los escuchas mas te gustan y se pegan en tu cabeza como BLACK HOLES tremendo rock
