Sixteen years earlier Lzzy broke a string, mid-set, while opening for Shinedown. Jasin Todd, of Shinedown” handed her a guitar to use, she found out later that it was a gift to her as she had inspired Jasin so much. In return she promised to “ pay it forward” when she someday found a young guitarist who inspired her. Sixteen years later she fulfilled that promise when she handed Dany that custom Gibson Explorer (that she secretly procured) on stage and on bended -knee. Dany has in turn promised to do the same some day.
Yes, that was awesome! I watched a video where Lzzy explained about the guitar she gave Dany. Most people thought it was one of Lzzy's Signature Gibson Explorers, but it wasn't. Lzzy enlisted the help of Gibson to find the guitar she gave her. Lzzy said she didn't want to just give her a guitar with her name on it.
Dany plays a PRS guitar, and Ale plays a Spector bass. Both are sponsored by and in the family of said guitars. Dany also has a Gibson Explorer that was gifted to her by Lzzy Hale of Halestorm. Peace.

However Ale's bass of which she called "Inferno" (The replica is called Ale's Inferno) is a customized Spector USA NS-5XL (The neck was thinned down and re-enforced with a beefy truss rod, the body was lightened by using a lighter hardwood and the electronics were customized to her specs that she had worked out on her two Spector Euro IV's). And while technically it was a parking garage, it was really a private garage for a dude that had a lot of exotic cars of which he removed for the shooting of this video.
