It's not fun to play against most of the time, that's why. You're forced to go with a completely different build from normal and you can't do the plan you intended. Or the cannon rusher fails and it the game is immediately over. In either case the person on the defense doesn't get to execute their prefered gameplan. It's also not the most fun to micro against immortal prism. Which is only as big of a deal as it is because your build is so limited you can't counter it in the way you want.

@@Win32error854 that's a fair argument. It's a very niche all-in. I still don't mind getting tower rushed. It brings variation in the ladder and punishes greedy play styles.

@@Venvon000 I get that. It’s not nearly as bad as the older cannon rushes from WoL where there wasn’t any thought or micro involved, but it’s still not everyone’s preferred thing to play against

@@Win32error854 I mean, that's basically what it comes down to: it challenges the adaptability of the opponent. Are they too rigid, completely capable just so long as the opponent applies pressure from their "strongest" direction, but then they absolutely fall apart against any slight variation? Or are they flexible enough and have enough system knowledge to change in response to what the opponent is doing? The mighty oak snaps when it stands up against a storm too strong; the flexible palm survives hurricanes.

@@omargoodman2999 Yeah but that's not necessarily fun to play. It's like any cheese, it has a function, but that doesn't mean people have to like playing it. I don't know a lot of people who love double proxy builds either.

Well for one, he built zero zealots so the 2-shot lings wouldn't come into play. In general I don't think he can afford to let up on unit production at any point.

@@BaufenBeast i was speaking in general bro, not about this specific game and opening he did; obviously that couldntve been done here. In fact i open the 2nd paragraph stating dorectly im not speaking about this proxy in vid (tho the correct placed the wording funny). Getting +1 wpns quick most definitely wouldve helped a ton here specifically, but everything else was just how i see no one ups toss as they should, what a massive difference it makes for them specifically, and a few examples of what a couple of those huge boosts are like 2 shot lings vs 3, 3 stalkers single volley a 50hp marine vs 4 stalkers with blink harass, guard shield makes marines do TWO dmg to Z's hp instead of 5 when used having arm up too...going from 29 shots to kill base lvl, to 35 w +1 armor, to 67 under g. shiels is MASSIVE plus killin 'rines in 3 hits vs4 as well etc etc. Even w/o the g.shield, an extra 6 shots per Z, even more if they get to recharge shields a bit, is big with lots of z's compounded by this added kill time lasting all game becomes HUGE...just one of many similar and more drastic benefits Im a chemical engineer, my mind loves math and a good challenge on figuring systems out so i spend way too much time modeling these things w equations from data i get, using calculus to find optimal values of the various variables and the critical points plus much more itd take me an hour to begin trying to explain fully. Short story my point toss upgrades is their races unique and best advantage but no one uses it anymore as if its trivial. By doing this, i was extremely good years back quitting bnet w a 768- 23 1v1 record roughly but i played comp. pro liKe YEARS i lived SC and then SC2, but trust me one edge i had aside from unexpected wierd sgt they never expected to work (also worked out via these facts) was my number crunching and mad use of always being up several upgrades of proper kinds vs the race/situation. Sometimes id have 3-3-3 bit b4 or shortly aftrr 10 mins, where now 1-1 usually isnt done till 6-7 mins. 2-2-2 fighting 1-1 is a massacre unless your completely incompetent. Im just trying to help ppl's play by reminding how effective this is as most arent aware its near as drastic as it actually is with protoss. Y i was furious they increased their ups times...total unfair horse sht, but now its equal again i think. This is WAAY too long already i could discuss strat all day...have a good one man

Keep in mind the resolution of the game itself isn't all that high so not sure if there is much of a point in going past 1080

Barely anyone is watching videos above 1080p and most YT views come from mobile devices so 1440p and especially 4k are not worth the hassle atm.

@@Norirane If you view 1440p videos on a 1080p monitor the bitrate issues (video artifacts) won't be as much of an issue. Uploading especially sc2 content in a higher bit rate would also help it not get as wrecked by RU-vid compression. I'm pretty sure he has the setup to at least do that. I am no expert on the matter though, but being a professional content creator you should know about getting good video quality. It's just a matter of a little research I think.
