@@arturraposo9782 for sure on purpose. It would have been weird if no one at the police had ever heard of Avon Barksdale but McNulty knew everything already. It is implied he has found out a little about him through hearsay, but not much more than that.
Actually they didnt, thats why when It was time to take on Marlo Avon crew was severely lacking soldiers. He just didnt have the rep to attract younger generation.
The fact that he was unknown o the police shows that the Avon/Stringer philosophy was working. Actually, it was the Frank Lopez model: You fly under the radar. Marlo knew it as well, hiding all his "turf battle" bodies in the vacants. Like Stalin said: "No person, no problem".
Hey man. You know what? This channel is awesome. Joining those related scenes with subtitles is what I needed, if you didn't take these ready-made clips as package. Even if it's like that, no problem, I still appreaciate your effort.
Thanks a lot. I’m a girl, though. I have a lot of content still but I haven’t had time to finish and post them I can’t post longer videos because RU-vid usually blocks them due to copyright claims. Comments like yours make me more motivated thanks
@@thewire-15thanniversary72 you're welcome, madam. It's been neary a month since I finished The Wire and nearly not a day passes by that I don't watch random scenes again on youtube. And as I watch them again, I notice something different and interesting. Keep up the good work. Cause Omar can come back tomorrow. And the next day. And the next day. :) thank you
If your watching youtube it comes with a caption option (smh) click ob the screen and press the three dots on the top right corner of your screen or the Double C for captions also next to the 3 dots
One of the best series premiere of all time. For me me, all series considered the “best of all”, have perfect first episodes (The Sopranos and Breaking Bad for instance).
