after sydnor and Bubbles were doing hand to hands in the pit, they talk with Greggs and Mcnulty ( i think it was them) who are sitting in a van, after they are done talking, the van drives away, and in the background, you see omars van, he saw them talking, he put 2 and 2 together, thats how he knew that bubbles was a snitch, it wasnt until my 3rd rewatch i cought it.
It didn't hit me until later that Omar and McNulty first meet in a field of bodies. None of them put the bodies there. But the bodies are there, regardless, just the way the victims of The Game are. A few episodes later, Brandon's body joins them. Four season after that, Omar's does as well. A constant reminder of the way things happen in this series. Powerful, in retrospect.
@@amorantoboy yup, they had arguments about it afterwards and the detectives were looking at that too. Her head went flying back as well, when she was running away from the ops
robin stevenson - One of the most distinctive aspects of the Balmer accent is their pronunciation of the long U and O vowels. The first season Omar doesn't really have it yet, but he improved later.
Whenever there was a meeting in the cemetery, at least one of those characters was marked for death. In the graveyard meeting between Brandon, Omar, McNulty, and Greggs, the doomed one doesn’t say a single word.
I loved McNulty and Omar’s respect for one another. Two key Mavericks in the show from their respective worlds. McNulty never cared about drugs, just about bodies. Likewise Omar never cared about drugs or money but just about respect and street honour.
Omar shows that whether a man puts his dick in a dude or a chick doesn't automatically mean jack all in the end. Also, I'm a gay dude and I hate the word "bussy". *cringe*
@@dangelopaine7490 it's very hard to say . it could further the spiral or give them an inkling of hope ..just link them some funny videos and throw in some philosophy
Paulo Alexandre spent a lifetime honing this skill as good as Omar that is how I made it to my sixties with times plus ten we’re coming and I had to keep alive feel me
Per McNulty Bailey was the smart one . They tried to capture him and he pulled out his gun and they lit him up. Which in hindsight was better considering what they did to Brandon
He was just in his early 20s, naturally he was careless bordering on being stupid (some people just have less common sense than others, part of life). But he didn't say anything. And no reason for him for them to send him to his grave with his face messed up.
😂For me, he's among the top 3 characters of all time.✅He is the man whose New York accent and later his improved Baltimore accent I fell in love with.Michael.K.W was a great actor.R.I.P🕊Unfortunately, the good ones always leave us at the earliest.
1:45 There is a plot hole in the stick up scene with Omar. When his boyfriend says his name Omar flinches and goes “what the F” like he didn’t want anyone to know his name. Later his character is all about robbing on his rep and his name just by saying “Omar coming” I guess the writers of the show hadn’t flushed out his character yet but that scene always bothered me.
Omar said later that he started rolling different when he met Brandon. He even tells Brandon that he's usually happy when his name rings out but he was trying to hide their association for fear of losing Brandon
If you watched the show you would’ve known. He was even laid up with Renaldo one episode and went out for Honey Nut Cheerios. Most importantly everyone called him a cock sucker if you pay attention.
I always liked how in one breath Omar said snitching is not a part of the game, then the next breath he snitched on Bird about killing Gant (the working man)
Leon Rice nah he always played nice with the cops. Him telling them it was bird was useless until they killed Brandon and he decided to put it on paper. If they had not killed Brandon bird would have been free cause Omar would not have testified.
@@vhscopyofrainman163 Yeah, I can see your mom being concerned about you calling males that you associate with your "friends". You gotta know that people are inherently horrible and your do called "friends" will be the first in line to take you down. Sorry to tell you this son, but your only real friend is a dollar in your pocket. My son didn't call other males his "friend", they either went to his school (class mates), or they were co-workers, and he never tried to keep in touch if they went to other schools or moved away from the neighborhood. He did call girls his friend, and he did make an effort to keep up with his female friends.. My son will turn 21 in January.
@@covertLLC that's too much to read. I said it because Omar is obviously gay and so is kima. Kima probably went through stages of people calling her partners "friends" when obviously they were in a relationship
yeah, where's all the jingoist war criminals that somehow profess to be good christians? Y'know, the kind that boast about standing up to tyranny then turn around and label a whistleblower as a traitor? Man, i wish we had more of those hypocritical conservative keyboard warriors to look up to as role models!
Hunter Pence Omar was flawless! Omar was the best! Omar was highly intelligent & really planned out what he was going to do & had no fear of jumping off of a balcony 4 stories up & hid in the maintenance room of the same building & made a crutch out of a broom. Yeah, Omar ain’t no joke, he is the real deal.
